Just catching up! I think I have 2 more posts to read. Your post Wave dinner posts.

On sunday we had a chicken lunch fundraiser at church. I took home 12 extra dinners. I gave 4 to my fixed income parents. I thought of taking some to those who had signs saying "homeless. need help" So I drove along Beach Blvd and found a few folks with signs. However, both people said they didn't want food, only cash. I mean I guess they have their reasons, but I got discouraged and just came home. Sometimes it's not about the act of giving, but the obedience to go out and do it in the first place-no matter what the result. I have no judgement against those 2 individuals....well I did, but I am trying to love like He does.

This reminds me of a time a friend and I were at McD's around 1am. A guy comes over and asks for some change for food. We didn't have any but we told him we would just buy him a few double cheeseburgers. He proceeds to tell us 'Nahhh man, I don't eat that crap' I guess he wasn't that hungry then.

I thought it smelled liked a stale stink bomb. It could of been the same smell.

He's either glad or very sad that some of the women here are married or single but live so far away.

The one date I went on was great, but she and I are both strong people with strong opinions...we were already disagreeing on issues....Theologically she's very, very, very conservative. very.

I see this woman for the whole weekend, we'll see what happens.

Would that be crazy if I met my wife here on the Dis?

Alright. Better be off. The baby is fussing...it's bottle time. And then almost nap time again. And I'm getting slightly irritated because his mom told me last night she wasn't working today. That she was going to go wait in line for something they call Keggs and Eggs. The news said it ended 20 minutes ago...and I was hoping she'd pick the baby up early and spend the afternoon with him. But alas, it doesn't look to be going that way. I'm going to have a whiney, fussy baby for another 3.5 hours. *sighs* But I digress.

Amen sister! Ty, my oldest and his girlfriend were down stairs eating ice cream while I was watching t.v. and I happened to be flipping through and found Little Bill. We all three decided there hasn't been anything good on t.v. for kids since...Little Bear, Blue's Clues, Dora, Rug Rats and all those sorts of cute shows. We all actually sat and watched Little Bill together, and no one felt silly for doing so. It's good to bring back the good ol' days, you know?

I never knew a one week trip could take so many more days and weeks to recap. I now know why you and Wendy get so much more value than me out of our WDW trips.....before, during and after....planning, living out and re-living every Disney moment...... Don't get me wrong, I like Disney...but I'm no fanatic......

You know me, I'd rather be at Maui on the beach or at Castaway Cay (at the beach sans kids) having the waves lap at our feet....but alas, those were glory days

Believe me this TR will probably take months or maybe more than a year.

I was in shock when I moved out of CA how many restaurant chains do not exist there. My dad (a produce business owner for 30 years) says that the laws and taxes on business owners in CA is just not worth it for many. Some of my non-CA faves are Texas Roadhouse, Carrabba's, Red Hot and Blue, Abuelo's, Sullivan's Steakhouse...(all of which have a location in AZ except for RH&B, as far as I'm aware, so next time you're here you have a list to check out)

I still haven't tried Carrabba's I know there's one in Scottsdale....
