Chapter 7. The Places You'll Go.
For some reason, as I started thinking about this update, Dr Suess' The Places You Will Go popped in my head.
Congratulations!
Today is your day.
You’re off to Great Places!
You’re off and away!
You have brains in your head.
You have feet in your shoes.
You can steer yourself
any direction you choose.
It was to be my first park day. I was excited to be back at WDW. I was excited to be going to Epcot. I was excited to hangout with friends. If you remember, we were on the Monorail from the TTC to Epcot-we being Cherie, DJay and me. We got off the monorail and made our way through the turnstiles. I was so excited that I had to dance:
We walked a little further and I shot off another picture of the Epcot icon-SSE. You know what a softie I am, I got a little verklempt. Finally! WDW!
We had no agenda, but decided to head over to Test Track to see what the wait was. I like the signs they have posted around the park that update wait times. TT was at 20 minutes stand-by. We decided to grab FPs. We kinda stood around and tried to decided whether to do stand-by.....We looked inside and the line seemed to be moving so we decided to do stand-by as well. The line moved quickly and we had a great ride! Man that ride goes fast.
At some point, I got a text from Kim saying their flight was cancelled. It had snowed pretty heavy in NJ and their 7:30am flight was cancelled. We texted back and forth and she said they were booked on a 6:30pm flight with a 9:00pmish arrival at MCO. Bummer. At least, there were no big plans that night for them.
Being the great DIS planners we are
, we did NOT go to Universe of Energy and Mission:Space, but instead wandered over to the Imagination Pavilion via MouseGear. Cherie and I both noticed that it smelled like poo when the doors opened to the store...no, I didn't poof. There was also a fashion disaster--overalls an a sleeveless shirt....couldn't snap a shot off without here looking though.

Okay..off to Imagination....
Imagination had no line or a very short one. After our ride.....I had to use the restroom..you know the one...The best restroom in all of WDW...
I really had to go.
EDIT: This restroom is around the corner from the entrance to the Imagination Pavilion. It gets overlooked now that they built the restrooms outside the Character Connection maybe 6 years ago...
Here's a look inside. Small, but clean and empty. Perfection:
Using the rating system from my previous TR..1 flush being the best and 5 being the worst. It was definitely a:
Following our great planning, we headed BACK to the other side of the park to UoE. Blueyed Girl, Cherie, had texted saying they had gone in to UofE. So we waited for them on a bench outside the exit. We waited and waited. One group came out, but no Blue. Another group came out. I thought I saw Blue's DH. I yelled "
HEY" really loud and then discovered it wasn't them.

. Oops! I laughed and then told Cherie and DJay what happened. I just started yelling hey at people randomly. We waited a bit more. It was nice to just sit and relax on a bench.
We got a text from Cherie saying that they were at Soarin. We had waited in vain, but no worries. Did we ride UofE since we were there or Mission: Space? Nope! Back
Again to the other side of the park to ride The Seas with Nemo. After that ride we headed over to the Land Pavilion and we ran into Blue and family. We chatted for a bit and then went our separate ways. We decided to ride Living with the Land. I think I actually decided that since it's one of my favorite rides. sorry cherie and djay for dragging you on.

The one picture I'm posting...9 lb lemons. Nuff said.
We used our FPs for TT and after that it was back to Pop to rest before our DISMeet dinner at the Wave. Waiting at the bus stop:
