So cool Dylan grew a foot in "ride love" that day! Bribery never hurts either! :lmao:
Bribery always works in our household...unfortunately, my mom is the worst culprit. Now Erin always asks my mom, "grandma, what surprise did you bring for me today?"

Dylan did such a good job...:thumbsup2
Once Dylan got over his fear of TT, he was all boy again, wanting to do the ride over and over.:thumbsup2

Yay for Dylan riding Test Track!
I totally agree, glad I have a partner in crime for future TT rides.

I'm glad Dylan rode TT... his reaction after the ride was funny! Zach said the same thing after riding ToT two years ago... he still doesn't have any interest in riding again. :sad2:
Yeah, TT is one of my favorite rides. Glad I can get Dylan to join me on that. Erin probably won't ride ToT for some time...she's not as brave as Dylan.

I'm glad Dylan enjoyed his first ride on TT!
Yeah, now Dylan has something to look forward to for our next WDW trip:drive:

Great pics!!!!
errrrr..ummmm well not all of them! :sad2:I won't take credit for Jordan's camera eye for pics better left to the imagination...I'll stick to the wildlife photos....I mean kid photos:banana:
Poor Erin... did she have flashbacks of TT?
Well, she remembered she didn't like it from a prior trip so I guess that would technically qualify as a flashback
Dylan rode it!!!! I wanted to bring Ana but DW wasn't having any of it. Maybe next time.:confused3
I hope Ana gets a chance to ride TT, maybe she'll love it as much as Dylan does.;)
Yeah for Dylan!!
I agree, yeah for Dylan!!
Cool new glasses! :thumbsup2
Erin is so funny pretending to be Frankenstein! I cracked up at Dylan saying he wasn't scared but didn't want to ride again! :lmao:
Yeah, he can be kind of confusing at times.
Yeah for Dylan! My kids had the same reaction after trying rides for the first time. It was fun, for one time.
Hopefully, he'll have good memories from the ride!
:rotfl2:
Papparazzi parents...sheesh.
Way to go Dylan, riding a big boy ride!
Yeah, I think I took over 900 photos on our WDW trip, mostly of the kids:thumbsup2

... and very big boy-looking!
Yay Dylan!! :cheer2:
I'll bet he loved the wind in his face part the best!!
Nope, unfortunately he didn't like the high speed runs and was saying something like "I don't like this ride anymore"...that is, until he got off the ride and then he wanted to go again and again.
YAY!!!!! for Dylan riding the big boy ride!! That was DS's reaction too. :rotfl2: The next trip, he was a pro! Now he can't wait to ride it several times. :thumbsup2
Yeah, my future car buddy

So I got behind again (nothing new about that).

I love Living with the Land. We have to do it at least once every trip and we take way too many pictures. SS is my favorite CS in Epcot. That's where I was when I got your first text. I haven't tried the cashew chicken but it does sound delish.

We must ride this together in 2012 and then eat at SS!

I'm so glad you didn't suffer from the earthquake. I instantly thought of you when I heard about it.

I am kinda bummed we've only felt one aftershock....

On the leggins issue: Michelle my 19 year old was outraged at all the offenders we saw while we were there. According to her they are not to be worn alone, always with something. She watches lots of "What not to Wear".

Also we went to the WWII museam in New Orleans yesterday and I did lots of reading. They were kicking us out at 5 and I still didn't read it all.

our household watches what not to wear too. apparently I'm a fashion disaster...

I LOVE museums too.....

Yay for Dylan on TT!! Both girls say they want to go this year! We shall see. Boy I need to get e some of those leggings! The new specs are very nice!

I hope to get Erin on a thrill ride next time...she'll be close to 10 in 2012.

Yes, get some of those leggings....:thumbsup2

love the new glasses! :cool2:

Thanks!!!!

 okay, i'm not going to insult this woman because i'm very likely to be shaped like her one day. however, i will NOT be sporting those pants if i am!!! (heck, i wouldn't sport those pants now!!!!)

I just don't like her choice in fashion..

 so cute! i love the "i was scared this much" with a zero comment. luke did something similar in 2007. he was only 2 (almost 3) and they took him on barnstormer. that was the first "thrill" ride he'd ever been on. when they got off anna asked him if he liked it and he said yes, then she said, "do you want to ride again?" and he immediately responded, "NOPE!" :lmao:

Dylan is a true funny guy!

So cute that Dylan said he wasn't scared but then said he wouldn't ride it again. I'm hoping to be able to get my 16 year old on it when we go! He sure can drive fast in the car - I don't know why he can't get on a ride!
Funny, there's a part of me that would love if Dylan took a liking to fast cars (I got hooked on auto racing and used to have annual passes to the Long Beach Grand Prix) but then when he turns 16, I'm hoping he'll drive like a granny:lmao:

Dylan is TOO CUUUTE in those pictures in the ride queue! I love him posing with the crash test dummy. :lovestruc
He's quite a character. Sometimes I don't know who's the bigger comedian in the family, Dylan or Erin (but Ashlyn is quickly catching up on the two of them).:rotfl:

Yeah for Dillon riding Test Track. That was Danielle's first big girl ride.
Tennis racket, I mean TT is now one of his favorite rides. Now on to ToT!:thumbsup2
dylan is such a cutie! I seriously wanted to take him home with me.
We can make arrangements, what's your baby sitting schedule like?
Yay for Dylan on TT!! Both girls say they want to go this year! We shall see.
Yeah, he a little boy with a big heart, I'm a big boy with a little boy's dreams (for cars, and racing, and toys):rotfl2:

Yeah, I guess kids can get away with changing their minds often....but not adults :)

Mornin' West Coast friend! Just making my daily rounds. Glad it's unanimous that neked lady was an eye sore! I thought maybe I'd be way off base for cringing like you did.

Talked to my mom last night. She said my aunt in La Mesa took some pretty hard shaking day before yesterday. Yikes!!

Hmm... what else can I?? Oh yeah, I wanted to ask you why you thought your Easter day at ch. was stressful??

Yeah La Mesa is pretty close....glad your aunt is okay! I was hoping for a few more aftershocks, but only one so far.

Any big day at church is a bit stressful as I am kind of operationally in charge of the facility. So people are always asking me for stuff and asking me questions and really it's not a day of worship for me. It's kind of a work day.

They live in the hilly part, so I think was scary, rather than "fun".

I can totally see that! Where's the chairs? Is the A/V set up? Is the fellowship hall unlocked?? etc.... Those of us in ministry struggle with that! I know! It's so important to take another day off to be fed. But with the "noise" around us, that's hard to do.

Like this fella? I have to admit he was soo cute.

We have our own version of this... Dylan 2 years ago... Hee hee hee. At least it was a warm costume for a chilly Halloween night!

What am I looking at?

Also, that picture of Dylan is a MUST SAVE. Already in my folder:rotfl:

Hm...I should find those pictures of my baby cousins as Tigger and Pooh. They were the cutest things on the street!

Oh I hope the meds work !!!:hug:

Ditto! Sorry your in such pain. :guilty:

She basically coulda been nude...

Dylan did such a good job...:thumbsup2

Yeaaaaa, Dylan!! :thumbsup2 What a big boy!

Of course, Dylan wanted to go back on TT, but he kept calling it "Tennis Racket" instead of test track. We figured it was because the pavilion has an oval shape but sometimes he has a few words that he mixes up. For example, for the longest time, he kept calling "hamburgers" "hangerbers" like "I really like my hangerbers".

Pretty normal kid thing, I use to call napkins, natkins that sort of thing. At least he's talking, my brother wouldn't talk until he was three, then started speaking in phrases!!

What am I looking at?

I was thinking the same thing. What are we looking at? I see pretty normal dressed young people. This must be weird just for the area your in, this is pretty much part of the norm around here, in fact the one wearing the leggings is actually wearing them the right way.... under something. I might be closely shaped to look like Winnie the Pooh, but I don't have to show it off! You know how the saying goes....."Just cause they make it in your size honey, doesn't mean you should wear it."

It's a date.:thumbsup2

You like to live dangerously.

our household watches what not to wear too. apparently I'm a fashion disaster...

Never! We'll let Michelle give you some tips.

I LOVE museums too.....

We really enjoyed it. If you make it down to New Orleans you'll have to go visit it and the Aquarium of the Americas.

The young lady in the middle is sporting her best Cyndey Lauper impression. I have teens and don't really see that too often, at least not at AK in the middle of the day.At least she has shorts over her tights! Like I said not bad just interesting, since the people she is with have different tastes.

I imagine if Jordan wore spandex like that woman we would have no problem identifying what pair of chonies he was wearing that day.:scared1:

Now that we've beat the spandex thing like a dead horse....on with the show!:thumbsup2

:rotfl: I just love seeing interesting outfits on people at WDW. It's like.."Did you even look in the mirror this morning?" or "How could your family/friends want to be seen with you?!" :rotfl:

My eyes are burning....leggings should not be made in that color.

Dylan cracks me up! And I'm loving the new specs.

Or size. Unless of course you wear them the way they were intended.

hmmm spandex in nude color...not a wise choice. I bet that caused a couple double takes throughout the day. :scared1:

FYI: I started my very 1st TR today and it needs a lil love. any volunteers?

Already did. :D

Erin has also ridden ToT.....ONCE.

I tried contacts...not my deal, plus I think I look better in glasses.

I've thought about contacts. And that's about all I've done. I don't like trying to get things (eyelashes, dirt, etc) OUT of my eyes let alone stick something IN my eye every day.

Notice I didn't take a picture of her face to protect her identity.:rolleyes1

Such a gentleman. ;)

Morning all !! My surgery was cancelled and am waiting for the new date:scared1::headache::sad2:

Oh Dear. Keep us up to date.

Jordan, great update. So exciting that Dylan rode TT and liked it. I'm hoping my kiddo is tall enough to ride it when we go in 2011 (he'll be 4). And that he WANTS to ride it. He's obsessed with cars and making them go fast ight now. Who knows.
