The Resort Hopping we will go!

Well, this is my first ever trip report and we had some great experiences so I thought I would tell you all too!

My report includes....

Myself, Karen, Mom to 2 kiddos
Daughter, Amber, just turned 9 in October and still LOVES the princesses, but moving into all the tween stuff too!
Son, Trevor, 6, TOTAL Disney lover too and my Prince Charming on this trip
My mom, has dreamed of a Grand Floridian stay her whole life
My dad, I think he secretly loves Disney too

My sister, bil and niece were there too, but stayed at a different resort, but you will hear about them sometimes too

Okay, so we start the trip on Wednesday. The kids went to school and then I picked them up and off to the airport we went! We didn't fly out until 6:30 pm so we opted to stay at Pop Century for the evening and start our package the next day, since my parents drove down and wouldn't be there until the next day anyway!

After a good flight and ME trip to the POP we got to our room!

We went directly to bed, since it was 10:45 pm and we had been up since 6 am! The room was nice, but I was surprised by how small it seemed.

We woke up early and were checking out by 8 am. We took a picture by the Potato heads first!

Checked out, gave our bags to luggage for them to transfer and headed to Beach Club to check in and receive our tickets and meal plan stuff.

Next up ... Check In, MK and grandma and grandpa get there!

Okay ... so, now we are headed to Beach Club to check in. We take the bus from Pop to Hollywood and then the boat over to Beach Club. We check in and whoo hoo the room is ready. They give us a room that is handicapped accessible, with the bigger bathroom, fine by me. I ask to make sure it has the daybed (as there are 5 of us) and was assured that it did. Go to the room .. no daybed. Back to check in and get room switched to room 1583. Beautiful view of garden courtyard and pretty good location!

We drop our stuff and head for MK!!

Right in the door we see ...

Then head to dd's favorite ride! It's a Small World. We ride that, Peter Pan and then head to Cosmic Ray's for lunch. On the way, I decide this is a cute place for a pic

We then ride Buzz Lightyear (ds's favorite) and meet

We then ride the Carosuel of Progress and Tea Cups. We then get a phone call that grandma and grandpa have arrived and head back to Beach Club. We stay in for the night and swim a little, as we have some action packed days ahead of us!!!

Next up .. breakfast at Crystal Palace (1st time for grandma and grandpa), a haircut for ds and the Alice Tea Party!

Okay, let's see.

We are now on day 3. This morning we have breakfast at Crystal Palace (LOVE that puffed french toast LOL) and get to see Pooh, Piglet, Tigger and Eeyore.

Well, as you can see from these pics .. ds is in need of a haircut! DESPERATELY! I decide that it will be a good idea to try and get a cut on Main Street since it isn't that expensive and he would LOVE it.

So, after breakfast we go to the barber shop. What do we find ... a VERY long line! So, grandma and dd go to ride some rides and grandpa, ds and I stay in line. After approximately an hour, we get our chair!

During ds's haircut we also get ....

A few songs and dance! My ds LOVED it .. he also dances and loved seeing the guys tap dancing like him

After his haircut, he now looks much better .... but blue

Now it is time to head to GF for the Wonderland Tea Party. My dd LOVES this tea party (has gone 2 times now) and ds is going for the first time!

After the tea party, we head back to Beach Club for some swimming. We then decide to head back to MK for some rides and to meet Tinkerbell and Fairies!

We waited just about 1 hour to see them, but it was worth it! My dd LOVED it! The room is very cool, definitely a must do!

After this, we head to ride a couple of rides. Time for bed, we have breakfast at the castle in the morning!!

Next up ...

Cinderella's Royal table breakfast, Hollywood Studios (and Toy Story Mania), making smore's on the beach and watching a movie on the beach!

Thanks! We did have a great time! We are already trying to figure out when to go back LOL

I will try and post another day tomorrow. I am crazy busy this week with my dd's first syncrhonized skating competition on Saturday, exhibition this week and extra practices for it. Plus ... while we at Disney I pulled a muscle in my calf. I thought it was better, but yesterday while walking at the ice rink, heard something pop and well, now I can't put my heal down! UGHHHH! Guess I may head to the docs tomorrow.

Okay .. sorry it has been a while! Crazy busy, but my dd did take a gold medal at her first competition! Whoo hoo!

Ok .. moving on!

Soo, we got a coveted ressie for Cinderella's Royal Table for 8 on a Saturday! Whooo hooo to me LOL Because my dd is 9 and ds is 6, I wanted to it to be special and boy was it!

Upon returning to Beach Club, my kids were treated like Cindy and Prince Charming! As we were walking in, a cast member asked them for their autographs! It was great!

Okay, after we came back, we headed to Hollywood Studios. We wanted to ride Toy Story Mania and see the HSM 3 show!

First off a pic ...

Then off of Toy Story Mania. The wait was 70 minutes so we did it! Some of the fun things ...

Let me just say .. this ride was AWESOME!!! We LOVED it!

After the ride, we headed straight for ....

We were on the side, but right in front! My dd got picked to dance!

She was beyond excited!!!!

After this it was time for dinner. We ended up walking back to Beach Club, a nice walk.

After we had dinner, it was time for roasting marshmallows and making smores on the beach!

We then watched Camp Rock on the beach and headed to bed. It was our last night at Beach Club and we were sad to leave, but Grand Floridian was ahead!!!!!!

Next up ... check in at GF, Lilo and Stitch and a day at MK!!

Aww thanks, I think I will keep them My dd's outfit came from the Disney Store and my ds's my dad made We had lots of people asking where we got his costume. I keep telling my dad he should make them and sell them!

Okay, so on Day 5 we are hopping to another resort. On the evening of Day 4, it occurs to me, that yes we don't need our room or tickets because we had gotten a 7 day pass on the first reservation, but our dining plan is now over and we need to new one! OOPS! We have a morning ADP at Ohana!! So, the kids and I jump on the bus to MK and then monorail over to GF to check in while my parents head to Polynesian to check in for our meal. We get to GF and our room isn't ready, but the nice CM tells me that Tinkerbell sprinkled some pixie dust on our ressie and we were upgraded to Lagoon View!! I was beyond excited and couldn't wait to tell my mom, since this is the one thing she has always wanted to do is stay at GF! So, I get our room keys and jump on the monorail to Polynesian, as we are getting to the Poly, my mom calls to say she got our table .. hurry! Perfect timing!

We get to see the characters right away ...

After breakfast we head to MK and my mom heads to GF to wait for the room.

When we get into MK we see ..

We ride lots of ride and stay for the first night of the lighting of the castle.

And then the parade ..

Next up ... BBB and dinner at the 1900 Park Faire!
