I just read that Vicki and Brooks split up! Never cared for him at all.

Some are speculating that Vicki is distancing herself from him because he is lying about his cancer. I know there has been speculation about that, so I guess we'll see.

How on earth could he fake being sick? I would think Vicki would be going with him to all his appointments and filling his prescriptions, going to chemo with him etc. I really doubt Vicki would be "in on it" with him, she does not seem the type to try to pull off something like that.

I hope I am wrong, but he didn't look sick at all.
He looked healthy and like he just lost some weight. Not an ounce of hair came off his body.
I'm not sure how much Vicki was involved, she was traveling with her daughter when he had his last chemo, so who knows.
She said she didn't like being around when he was sick, I don't get that. If the person you love is going thru all of this, do you leave their side?

Nope, I don't see Vickie being a part of a fake cancer story.
Brooks? I could see him attempting this. Sad if he did. I have wondered myself what the story is. When someone has cancer they are pretty busy with clinic/hospital visits for a period of time. Often they need a driver. I haven't seen any of that with Brooks on the show.

I find it very interesting that she had so much to say about Slade and even Simon. She thought it was her business and had no problem talking smack about them but the minute someone says something about her loser boyfriend who IS a deadbeat dad, she flips out!!!! Even 2 weeks ago she had pictures on her instagram with Brooks in Miami so I don't think the breakup is about the fake cancer. That story is playing out this week on the show right which was filmed earlier this year. Maybe he was already in remission and they thought this would be a good storyline since everyone thinks he's a loser anyway?
I hope she has broken up with him. She needs to figure out how to be on her own.

I wouldn't put it past Brooks to lie about the cancer so I'm certainly not defending him, but the only proof we have that he could be lying is his shady past. I have seen many people suffering while going thru cancer treatments and they didn't have the radiant skin that Brooks had just a few days after he said he had chemo.
So I will say it again, to me he looked awfully healthy for someone who had a chemo treatment a few days before filming the segment!!!

What I said was based on what I have seen and that's where I spoke from.
Brooks radiant skin 3 days after a chemo treatment made me suspect.
I wasn't trying to make light of cancer and what people suffer because of it.
I think Brooks is trash and I have my feelings about him and this was my opinion. I really hope he isn't lying about such a serious thing like cancer, but I wouldn't put it past him. AGAIN my opinion.

I've never liked Brooks -- what they had on tape was despicable, even if you were drunk. I still can't see how Vicki would be with him after he said those things in context to her DD. Boggles my mind.

Given that, I really couldn't put it passed him to lie about an illness. If it is true, even though I'm not a fan, I wish anyone well. But if this is all made up, then you are the lowest of the low.

Vicki said she went to treatments with him, but I never heard her say she was in the room. Anyone hear her say that? He could've told her to stay out in the waiting area for a variety of reasons. And you can easily make yourself throw up. Idk he's so shady that I really wonder.

I wish she'd come to the realization that who you keep company with has a direct correlation to how others perceive you.

What was my ignorant comment? I'm confused. Ignorance is making blanket statements without knowing facts, like saying Brooks must be faking because he looks fine. There are many people out there who go through treatments and look fine. Just because you've never seen anyone with that experience, doesn't mean it isn't common. Of course you're entitled to your opinion, but it doesn't make sense to surmise he's a faker based on looks alone.

I don't trust Brooks as far as I could throw him, but the best evidence anyone has of him faking is that he's always been a scam artist. That's really it.
