You would go directly to the ER. When you are undergoing chemo (my mom did and is a breast cancer survivor of 11 years) they give you instructions on what to do in case of a reaction, etc. Seriously, anyone who believes this guy is delusional.

Exactly. If your reaction was severe, you would go right to the ER. The whole thing is bogus.

Tamara and Vickie are fair weather friends. Vickie doesn't trust Tamara at all. It doesn't make sense that she/Brooks would go to Tamara with the medical documents.

Vicki thought two-faced Tamrat had her back. After all, Tamrat repented and had all her sins washed away. Somehow, I doubt the baptism worked. Methinks, an exorcism would be more appropriate.

i KNOW these shows are not "reality" but the participants always publicly put forth that to a great extent they are so i will never understand why someone who participates in one would engage in behaviors that could potentially bring detriment to their 'day job'. we've seen the giudice's brought to justice b/c of the contradictions between what they reported on legal documents in their b/r and loan documents, abby lee miller has just been indicted reportedly because the bankruptcy judge in her case was channel surfing, caught some episodes of dance moms causing a light to go on regarding all the master class, merchandising and other monies abby failed to report in her proceedings-it just boggles my mind that vicky who has always seemed to make a tremendous effort on rhoc to portray herself as the consummate, dedicated professional in the insurance industry would allow herself to get caught up in this type of deception.

falsified medical reports especially after she said that she personally had created and helped to maintain a binder (or file) of all of brook's medical and insurance documentation? not the kind of public perception i would want in seeking out an insurance or financial services professional. if this whole cancer storyline was a lie, and vicky helped to perpetuate it i have to wonder if there's going to be some legal ramifications b/c if brooks w/vicky's help (or silence if she knew it was bogus) put in false insurance claims i would have to think there is some kind of professional code of ethics or accountability in her profession

I personally think that Vicki was duped by Brooks. To protect Brooks' reputation, I think she stated things as factual (i.e. - "I go with him to his chemo treatments") when she didn't really do it. She believed everything he told her. She defended him to the point of lying about her actual involvement. I know it seems far fetched. Based on the 9 seasons of the show, I've never seen Vicky act unethically. She's been a jerk. She's been a hypocrite. She been manipulated by a con-man. But she has never intentionally lied. Tamra on the other hand......

Not far fetched at all. Big IF he is faking it (or at least the severity or type of cancer) it wouldn't surprise me if Vicki didn't want to pry too deep in case she didn't like what she found. Sort of like when people have an idea their kid is up to no good, but don't want to find out the truth. Human nature to give yourself that out, instead of finding the truth and having to deal with it.

Plus, IF he is lying he could have told Vicki it was a chemo apt and she waited in the lobby and had no idea what he was doing. And, by the way, I can't think on an example off-hand but in all the years of the show it wouldn't surprise me if we found a Vicki lie or two. Hypocrisy? Oh yea, loads of that!

I think it's more far fetched to say that Vicki has NEVER intentionally lied.

I lost my husband to pancreatic cancer seven years ago. We traveled from Michigan to Johns Hopkins in Baltimore so my husband could have a complicated surgery done by a world renowned surgeon. Nothing about Brooks' situation adds up. Also, if Vicki was really involved in Brooks' battle with cancer, her friends would have believed her. She would have details. She would KNOW that he is fighting cancer without question and would be able to share the experience. None of it adds up. None of it.

Obviously, this is a television show and the producers didn't want this issue to be resolved. If the producers created this Brooks faking cancer story line, I think reality TV has sunk to a new low. Is there no line they won't cross?

Have no idea if he was faking,she knew. I a so sorry for your loss. One of my good friends & colleagues passed from pancreatic cancer. The last thing he & his DW did was go to Lourdes. I feel for you.

My DF died from lung cancer it was horrid, if it is proved he faked - he needs to be vilified. Now if Vicki was duped I will give her a pass, but if she knew ever in this filming then she deserves all the backlash.

I rather doubt she went along to "chemo". My take is the whole story is bogus. But, just for discussion, let's look at the possibilities.
Not buying maybe Vicki sat in the waiting room. She's not sitting for HOURS in the waiting room, reading old magazines.
Now, if you want to say she dropped him off at the hospital door, went to a 2 glass of wine lunch and picked him up hours later....and called that going with him to "chemo"...well, maybe.

Just got to watch the finale. The "I'm just like Jesus being nailed to the cross", was the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard on any of the housewives shows.

"Brianna is a **** stirrer", just says all that needs to be said about Vicki. Who says something like that about their daughter??

I didn't watch the WWHL episode yet, but after reading that it's a Vicki lovefest, I'll just do myself a favor and delete without watching. I'll never understand how Vicki and Teresa Gudice have so many rabid, defend at all costs, fans.

IMO this could be a real possibility.
But I honestly can't imagine that Vicki would risk losing Briana and her grandkids over covering for Brooks. Even if she was mislead and now knows the truth, Why wouldn't she come out with guns slinging against him??

I believe Megan brought that up. I was kind of shocked, I never thought of that angle before. I honestly don't know what to think about that accusation.

We do know that Brooks was in some hot water because he wasn't coughing up child support, so I guess it's a possibility. Although, I have read before that Vicki paid off Brooks' child support arrears so I don't know if he'd need to go to this extreme for that.

Brooks has a long history of not financially supporting his kids and it never seemed to bother him. What Megan said about using cancer as an excuse to not pay child support & not look like a deadbeat would be more of a lie Vicki would be pushing. She spent so much time, effort & energy slamming Slade for that so she'd need an excuse for her man Brooks not to be considered a deadbeat..."he's fighting cancer & is unable to pay"

Because she's a narcissist. Everything is about her. She fell for him the first place because he worshipped her, had all the lines she wanted to hear, etc. Virtually everything she says about her family is in the context of how it affects herself. I think she would rather pretend everything is fine than having to admit she was wrong. Even if anything is ever proven that she lied, or knew something about it she would never sincerely apologize- or even admit it. We all know the type.
