I finished my speech on Yankees vs. Red Sox
Here's my favorite part:
"All I really have to say is, "27 World Series wins against 7 World Series wins. There's a 20 win difference. That just sums up my point in two sentences. But I'll go on, just so you may see my whole reasoning. The New York Yankees have been America's Favorite Baseball team since 1913, and ever since then, they've been nothing but wonderful. The Red Sox, have had a different story though. Founded in 1901, they've faced dissapointment from the start. Only 17 years after founding, Boston found themselves in "The Curse of Bambino". Red Sox were stupid enough to have Babe Ruth fall into the hands of the New York Yankees around 1919/1920. For the next 86 years the Red Sox lost and lost, never winning a World Series Title. While some called is a "curse" others called it "Sucking for 86 years". Yankee fans were highly amused during this time period, they could freely mock their rivals, without worry that they could have any sort of come back. Considering, how could they even compete, having lost and lost over and over again? Whenever the Yankees would play the Red Sox, yells of "1918!" filled the stands, coming from the beloved Yankee fans. In 2004 Boston redeemed themselves to winning the World Series and breaking their "curse". While they still are recovering from their "86 year curse" the Yankees have still taken the chance to move ahead. Having Derek Jeter as captain of the team, Alex Rodriguez and his "A-rod A-bombs", and recent players such as Nick Swisher. The Yankees have won the most recent World Series, in November 2009. And with them being in 1st league of all the teams, they have a promised spot to go far. Thanks to Curtis Granderson and other "Yankee newbies" the Yankees have and hold first place, away from the Tampa Bay Rays, Boston Red Sox, and the Minnesota Twins."
you can say about how epic red sox fans are (; *COUGHCOUGHMECOUGH* xD
I think your speech is biased, considering you are a yank fan...
