I know a girl, whose first name is Summer... and her last name is... Winter.

Summer Winter.
How weird is that.
You know what's weirder? Her middle name is Autumn.
I kid you not.
Summer Autumn Winter
I told her she needed to marry somebody whose last name was Spring. She told me she didn't need to, because she chose her Confirmation name to be Spring. So yes, her name is Summer Autumn Spring Winter.

That just blows my mind.

Maybe she'll marry somebody whose last name is Fall?

But now the seasons are out of order for her...

The top teams in National League and the American League go to the playoffs, whoever wins the American League and the National League go onto the World Series together. I think it's 3 or 4 wins against the team you're playing, and you win the World Series.

The Wild Card is a play-off spot. It's given to a team in each league with the best record (wins and loses) out of the teams in their league who haven't already been able to go to the play-offs. Very rarely does a Wild Card team win the World Series. It's only happened like 4 times... and one of those times was the Red Sux (2004, I think). Of course, getting the Wild Card is great- but then again everybody totally hates you if you end up winning the WS (like what happened in '04 with the Sux. For WEEKS there was constant booing and it really sucked for them, haha)

ahhhhhhhh, I see. and how to they sort the NL and AL? the AL seems to be the more 'advanced' in a way baseball teams such as the red sox, Yankees, Tampa etc.

That was the point. Her parents wanted to have the "main" seasons on the "outside" of her name, and the "lesser" seasons on the "inside" of her name.

I have no idea how they sorted the teams into AL and NL. Most AL teams are on the east coast, but there's some on the other side of the Mississippi. Yeah, they should probably even it out more. The Phillies have an unfair advantage.

Well, AL has the Yankees, Tampa, and the Twins. Boston isn't really considered an "advanced team" ATM.

Ewwww, lamb? YOU EAT LAMB? What is wrong with people? We do not eat lamb around here... my mom did make it once for Easter. And I was shocked at her. She wanted me to eat a baby lamb! I told her no. Weird, right? I'll eat chicken and cows and pigs, but I won't eat a baby lamb.

Chicken is my favorite food. My momma makes it so many different ways- with Chinese sauce, with Italian sauce, with pasta and a yummy chicken broth, parmesan style, with this yummy marinade, and grilled!

Nah, here Summer and Winter are the major seasons. Winter because it's the coldest, Summer because it's the hottest.
