yep, when you make your confirmation as a roman Christian, you get to choose a new middle name to add to your name.
well, it got changed from bambino to great bambino a couple of weeks ago but nothing last night.

When I was confirmed, I didn't get to choose an extra name... Then again, i'm Church of England, so maybe there's a difference.

Confirmation names rock Of course, you've got to pick it after a Saint. But pretty much every common name has a saint. Your Confirmation name isn't legally part of your name, but Roman Catholics believe it is. My Confirmation name is Ann. Because that's my Sponsors middle name and it's my mom's middle name. (A Sponsor is an adult in the Catholic faith that you feel can help you throught the Confirmation process)

If there was a Saint Jake, I would of chosen that if I could of... I think the reason I like the name Jake is because I haven't met anyone with the name, but feels to me like such a common name that I should have met one.
