It rained pretty much the whole time. First half wasn't great (congestion, no characters), but the second half got better.

That's a bummer about the rain. At least you finished and can enjoy the rest of the vacation.

OK, so before I comment on your Day 6 plans, I have some related news. It turns out that I will actually be in Florida that week, and I will be spending marathon day (Sunday Jan 10) at the Beach Club. My CM friend Teena is moving out to Las Vegas, earlier than she expected and I am going out to help her with the house for a couple of days. Friday night will be our only park time. I will be hanging out at the Beach Club, my Disney habitat, that day while Teena works. Then I leave Monday morning.

I wasn't planning on going to the parks on Sunday, but now I have a ticket. I'll be on the lookout for people I know, I'll be wearing a light blue Beach Club shirt.
Helpful Hint: If you are trying to find me, look down.

Here are my plans.

EP:
Breakfast at French bakery around 9, then Behind the Seeds tour (not booked yet)
Hang around EP for the morning
Early lunch - Spice Road Table or Japan

Head to HS:
12:05 Frozen Sing a Long
1:20-2:20 Star Tours
2:55 Toy Story Mania (will hit as soon as FP opens)

Then headed back to Beach Club and hang around there until dinner at 5.

I think we may be crossing paths, perhaps literally, but I will PM you my cell/text number.

Day 5 Update:

Shabbos was nice, but rain stopped us from taking our planned walk.
We watched the electric water pageant and wishes from the boat dock at the grand Floridian and then headed over to the poly to see trader sam's. The wait was 35 minutes ... So we drank outside instead. Heading back to pop century now.

Day 6 Update:
Today was not our day. But we had fun anyway ... DHS gates, Epcot, mini-golf, Epcot ... It was a lot of crazy, but it ended with princess dinner, so what could possibly be better than that?
Oh yeah, Illuminations. That was a pretty awesome way to end the day.

No picture today because my phone hates the dis sometimes. But there will be plenty of pictures in the TR ... I hope you guys like mini-golf pictures. Just saying.

Day 7 Update:
Today was not at all what we expected it to be. But it was still pretty awesome.
We did not hit 18 FP+ (partially because availability was not what we had hoped it would be) but we did break our personal FP+ record. We also had some fun encounters and awesome experiences. Overall, for a day that started with forgetting our main snack in the room and then me almost losing a contact lens, Wishes ended up just being the cherry on top of a great day.

Day 8 Update:
We had a great morning/early afternoon at Animal Kingdom, then went back to Disney Springs for some last minute free chocolate (and chocolate purchase) at Ghirardelli, before heading back to Pop for late lunch.
Sitting on the Magical Express heading back to the airport now. It's been a great trip, and while I would love to spend more time here, I'm not overly sad to be leaving because I know we got a lot done and had a lot of great experiences. I'm looking forward to reliving it in the TR. Stay tuned for the link.

I'm home. I have a title for the TR, but that's about it. I have a lot of life crap to catch up on (as evidenced by the fact that I'm on the DIS at 2 am and not sleeping), but I'm hoping to start the TR at some point this week.

I'm so sorry that I missed you! We were actually in Epcot in the morning, but entirely in future world, and kinda running around the whole time. We left right before lunch and didn't get back until almost 4. I guess we'll just have to coordinate better next time!
