So we are going to be in Florida from June 21st to July 1st, while in Daytona Beach we will be staying at the Hilton Daytona Beach Ocean Front Resort. I thought we would not do any sort of beachy themed resort at Disney. I am leaning toward Port Orlean French Quarter or Animal Kingdom Lodge, DS would love Animal Kingdom he has been begging to stay there for years, however I'm still pricing out our options as money is always a concern.

Our itinerary will look something like this:

June

20th: Leave Indiana at 8am to drive to Florida
21st: Arrive at Resort (No park) Downtown Disney Day
22nd: Park
23rd: Park
24th: Park
25th: Park
26th: Drive to Daytona Pageant activity (DD &I) beach day (DH &DS)
27th: DD & I pageant activity, DH & DS Drive back to Orlando Universal Studios
28th: Pageant Activity & Waterpark (all)
29th: DD & I pageant activity. DH & DS Blizzard Beach (Back to Orlando)
30th: Pageant Finale (ALL)
1st: Either Leave for home or back to orlando.
I am hoping to fit in a trip to St. Augustine as I went there as a kid.

Now I just really need to plan the details...

So it has been about a month since I lasted posted and thats because not much has been planned as we have been extremely busy. I havent had time to do alot of planning and we are still about 7 months from our departure date so I do still have plenty of planning time, exspecially with my fall semester ending in just a few weeks, giving me a free month. So the only updates are:

  • We are considering changing resorts from AoA to Port Orleans French Quarter
  • We are not going to be able to return to Orlando after DD pageant as she will compete in another pageant a few days after
  • DH is still not sure if he can actually go w/us or not but My sister will take is place on our trip if necessary

This is all so far but I plan to get more planning done in the next few weeks.
