The Pursuit of Disney Magic (June 7-14, 2008) ~ UPDATED 9/30 pg. 191

First stop: Canada. Connor and Chelsea saw that totem pole and decided to be their own totem pole.

so cute!!!!!

that's so great!!!

Okay...

I am wondering how you got lost in Morocco?

And it has totally perplexed me to the point where I'm having trouble focusing on what I really wanted to say...

ah yes!

Shopping in Epcot is always good. And a little bait for your DH in England I hope will work like a charm! I love the photos of the kid as usual, and it's nice to see you and DH as well.:goodvibes

Love the pictures of Connor and Chelsea as artists! Those are so cute!

It looks like it was a beautiful day in the world--the sun was out and sunshiny (as we can tell by Connor's squintiness in some of the pictures :lmao: ) and the only clouds in the sky are picturesque ones. :goodvibes

I'm looking forward to your take on Marrakesh and even more to Teppan Edo next week! popcorn::

Your World Showcase photos are wonderful!

I loved the use of French to describe the photos. I minored in French, but I don't remember so much of it these days. It's a shame...

The artist pictures are so cute. I laughed quite loudly about "We won't ask what kind of French artist." :lmao:

I love the totem pole pic!!

We're trying to spend a couple (few?) evenings at Rose & Crown.

We are blessed with another picture of you! Yay!! The sun must have been in all of your eyes. You look like you're squinting.

I LOVE Connor the artist!

LOL on Chelsea's pic for a french artist. Can can, anyone?

Dying to know if you made it back to the English shops.

Another fun update Jackie! Thanks!

Great update Jackie!!!

I love the photo of French artist Connor. That's such a great shot!

Hmmm I'm curious to see if Charles went back to England to check out the soccer gear. If he would have only let you look through the shops. So typical of a man!!

I want to see if you took pics of Moroccan food!!!

Okay.... these might be the cutest kid pictures I have ever seen at EPCOT! How fun! Thanks for sharing.. I agree you can get to EPCOT ASAP from POFQ!

OMG Joey did the same thing with the beret and posing with the paint brush. It's one of my favorite pictures from our trip.

I want to eat at Rose and Crown too!

I love how your shots are so peaceful, so few people in them! Must have been nice to stroll without the crowds!

I love the french artist pose!

I don't understand why some people hate ws...........I could spend DAYS wandering through it!:confused3

Great update! Love your pictures! It looks like it was very empty in WS when you were there! Gosh, seeing them makes me want to go and SHOP! NOW! LOL!

Looking forward to the Marrakesh review! I still have an ADR there I am not sure what to do with.

Allyson :)

I am so loving this WS update!! Since we haven't really been able to explore it with Megan the last few trips, I have really begun to miss how beautiful it all is! I know she will get there at some point! Right now, it just doesn't interest her much!! Like you said though, so much more reason to keep going back!

The totem pole picture is so freaking cute! As are the french pictures. I have decided that you do need to take an October trip because I really enjoy your pictures and TR's. :thumbsup2

Yes, I agree. You need to do an October trip!

Fabulous pictures!! I love seeing everyones shots from the WS, I still don't feel like I have seen 1/3 of what is there!

Umm, I used to loathe WS, really hated it. I do blame it on my parents though:thumbsup2 for dragging me through in the middle of summer at 16 years of age. Since then I have done everything to avoid the place... up until our past 2 trips. On previous trips we hightailed it to the countries with rides only. BUT, We had a glimpse of the glory in 2005, so in 2008, along with a wonderful homemade unit study dedicated to WS:idea:, we took our time and went through each country. Slowly-it took us 2 days. Well, maybe 1 and a half-but we have a new found love for it! I can now say that EPCOT takes us 2 full days to get through, the park i used to avoid!
Love the updates!!!

Lori

I'll butt in and share my FQ experience from Jan 2007, which is a slower time then when Jackie went:
1. Wait time was usually 15 minutes
2. We did all 4 stops at Riverside for every park.
3. Pop is better.
4. The bar looked lively everynigth we went by. Plus you can take the boat to DTD...no Pleasure Island but you can hit the restaurant bars. And there are benches on the backside that overlook the river which I think you would enjoy late at night.

Thanks Peepns!!!!!

I guess I'll have to make a decision about the Food Court as I plan to eat there at least a few times....

Third Stop: France. Ah, la Tour Eiffel et ma famille!

La Tour Eiffel, mes enfants, et moi!

Mes enfants dans Paris!

Paris!

Okay, that's about the extent of my French these days. Remember how I said that the Emperor Zurg picture was my favorite of Connor. Well, I forgot about this one. We were in the French gift shop, Connor spied the berets, and voila! I suddenly had a French artist for a son! Look, how he even stood!!! I was cracking up because it was so unexpected, yet perfect.

Chelsea also channeled a French artist -- we won't ask what kind of French artist! :rotfl:

While we were in France, Charles spotted the soccer jerseys. He was all excited that he had found something that he really liked (except he doesn't root for any French teams, he roots for English teams). I happened to say, "You know they have English team soccer jerseys in the English shops." I watched the wheels in his head start to turn as we headed towards our lunch ressie in Morocco.

I love these pictures from "France". They came out so good!!!!
