The Pursuit of Disney Magic (June 7-14, 2008) ~ UPDATED 9/30 pg. 191

How to fix an adult meltdown:

1. Take a deep breath.

2. Leave children with another adult in your party.

3. Head for a bus, boat, or monorail to the Polynesian Resort.

4. Head straight for the Great Ceremonial House.

5. Make your way to the second floor.

6. Walk, without stopping anywhere, to the Tambu Lounge.

7. Order a lapu lapu.

Okay, I LOVE this! I second the motion to put this in the trip binder! :lmao:

Now I have to go too TL.

TGJ and TGS have the best advice about Disney. I want to put them both in my suitcase and take them with me.

I'm anxious to see your craft projects popcorn::

TL was really neat -- I never thought I would enjoy a water park, even a Disney water park, but I have to say that I have been missing out!

TGJ and TGS do have the BEST advice -- sadly, TGS has not been seen around my PTR for a loooonngggg time...:rolleyes1

I am actually working on one right now -- I came over to print something off and you see what I am doing now!

I am loving that you had a great time at Typhoon Lagoon. Typically, I don't do water parks, but one time, my sister, who is seven years older, decided to take me by herself on one of the days of a trip. I was 10, she was 17. We had so much fun! I do remember us floating around lazily, so that must have been the river, and we had a great time just the two of us.

I haven't been back since, but I have very fond memories of it. :)

I have fond memories of it, now, too! :goodvibes

The DIS is so distracting. I'm catching up on trip reports until Rock of Love comes on. I just wanna see if Bret's hair falls off.

It is because I am still here -- while the kitchen table is awash in craft stuff.

You will see just how distracting the DIS is when I post my next question on your PTR...:rotfl:

I really should be getting things ready for tomorrow. We're starting to paint sents and sew costumes, but here I am talking about hair pieces and ADRs.

I can't wait to see your question and see your crafts :surfweb:

I know you will appreciate them!

I am avoiding thinking about tomorrow -- I have to cover all the stuff on my walls for CRCTs and face the fact that I have one day left to review EVERYTHING my kids need to know! :scared:

I hate covering the walls. The one year I taught 4th grade I had to do that, but no more.

Your kids will do just fine. Just think, after testing the end of school will be closer!

Once testing is over (it is split over two weeks), we will have four weeks left -- we are at the six week mark right now! :woohoo:

Yes, I have been sucked in. DH has also been sucked in, because even though he isn't watching it, he keeps asking me what is going on -- :rotfl2: .

Oh you'll love it!!!

I'm waiting to see the dinner scene where Ambre announces she's not wearing underwear :scared1:

Who do you and your DH think Bret will pick?

My sister is watching that tonight...she even said at breakfast, "I'm so excited, the Rock of Love finale is tonight!"

And I guess whats-his-toes (Brett Michaels, right?) is coming to our neck of the woods in May for a publicity stop. She and her friends are going. :cool1:

:rotfl: I saw that on the previews and was glad DD was in her room. :scared:

They are both a bit much, although Daisy really seems like a piece of work! So, I guess Ambre gets my vote.

Well they're both "in love" with him, so someone is going home heartbroken.

How old is Daisy? Is she 17? :scared1:
