Day 9 Chelsea decides
We have nothing planned for today and decide to let Chelsea choose were she would like to go. She decides on Magic Kingdom and we all want to see the fireworks and Spectromagic.
Due to Rebeccas ever increasing tantrums it is also decided that we will go later in the afternoon and its a little cooler. Once we arrive we get the ferry for the first time and enjoy the ride over. Much more different than the race to our ADR at the castle. Everyone gets excited seeing the castle again and this time we can actually take it all in. At some point here I feel my eyes welling up and I am glad I have sunglasses on. Magic Kingdom is really a special place and the atmosphere is just electric.
We wander around the park and go to see Philharmagic which is just fantastic. We ride dumbo and queue for 2 hours to do so. I cant have the kids not ride dumbo, can I? There is so much to see and do here and I do realise that we are not going to be able to fit in everything. With a 2 year old who refuses to sit in a buggy and gets tired which leads to tantrums we are finding that we have to make a lot of adjustments to our days. Hubby and I comment to each other that we will not be trying to come back next year as she is too young. We are usually done in by 4pm in the afternoon and I commend those of you who can do the whole day and night.
We find a space for Spectromagic and we are quite near the front of the castle. I suggest to DH that we should stay where we are for the Wishes fireworks. We have a wait until Spectromagic starts and I cannot believe how busy it is. We are all literally shoulder to shoulder. We dont get the best of views for spectromagic but still manage to see it. After this we sit patiently awaiting Wishes.
At 10pm it started and wow, I was amazed. What a great way to end the day. I was buzzing from it as were the majority. You really could feel the magic here. Well I could anyway. Lumps in the throat, tears in the eyes and smiles on the face. Truly wonderful. Rebecca did get a little scared at the scary part and when it was over we headed back for the ferry. It was back to the villa and straight to bed for us all tonight.
