13th June 2007 - IOA and US
We are up and off to Denny's for breakfast this morning. It was very nice and we head off to US and IOA. We decide to do IOA first as we expect to spend less time here. The kids loved it here and we ended up spending the majority of the day there. The girls got there faces painted and Chelsea decided on the Princess while Rebecca was the angel,lol. She is NOT an angel and we were subjected to a few tantrums. Not good in the Florida heat. We met Cat in the Hat and The Grinch. Rebecca was a bit scared of the Grinch though and he was quite funny! Instead of the Thing 1 and 2 t-shirts the girls chose slippers which are quite cute!
We done the majority of rides here and we then headed for the Jurassic park ride. We waited about 1 hour in the que to get on and coming up is my bad mummy moment. Chelsea was terrified and cried almost all the way through. I felt soooo bad as I had taken her on it expecting she would be ok. We quickly found out that she did not do 'scary rides'.
We headed over to US and the rain started again. I thought to myself was this how it was going to be with the weather every day. We ducked into Shrek 4D and the kids loved it as did the adults. After this Chelsea point blank refused to get on any other rides.
We decided to head back for dinner and let the girls splash about in the pool for a bit. They were keen to do this anyway. When we got back there was no sign of rain at all again and we all had some good fun in the pool!
