The Pre-Pre-Trip Report: MOVING TIME! 11/21 Pg. 19. The PTR has Begun!

I bet you'd really like The Secret History of the Pink Carnation then. It's a great series that CP suggested to me. CP, isn't there another book coming out soon?

I really loved The Time Traveler's Wife but my Mom hated it. I think it's one of the best books I've ever read. I'm almost done with another book by Christine Blevins, I might do a mini book review on here of it.

Sure thing! I will do that soon for you. :thumbsup2

I will check both of those out for sure. Did you see the movie for The Time Traveler's Wife? I didn't see it yet but it looked good.

I like #2 and #5. They are all really cute!
I think I'm leaning towards #5.

You are such a cute couple! I liked #4 the best. You both look great!:santa:
Thanks! Marc was/is not thrilled about the reindeer ears but you know....why does a Christmas photo have to be all serious? I think it will make people laugh when they open it up.

I did...I loved the movie. Not as good as the book but that's okay still a good movie. I think I'll buy it when it's released on DVD.

I just bought a pair of reindeer ears today at the Target dollar spot to wear at our school Christmas program. I think they are cute. People will love it! I usually find that books are better than the movie. I guess when you imagine something a certain way it is hard to replace it with someones interpretation.

If you are on a historical fiction kick, there is a book called "A Break With Charity" by Ann Rinaldi -- it's about the Salem witch trials. It's actually a young adult book but it's really good.

Your pictures are so cute! I like #2 and #5 the best.

#2 and #4 are my favourites: I think in #2 you both look your best (and by the way: both of you look fantastic in those pictures, one can tell that both of you lost a lot of weight!! :thumbsup2) and in #4 you look the happiest. I think #4 is the one I would choose, it feels more personally and truely happy, less "staged". But they are all great, you wouldn't go wrong with chosing any :goodvibes

MY first instinct said #2 I really like that one of you and Marc...of course they are all awesome!!

He he he! I love the Christmas pictures!!! I think #2 is the cutest of the bunch -- although they are all adorable!

Okay, cant believe how much I have missed. But, hey I am here now.

I vote for pictures 3 or 5. They are all really cute though!!:santa:

I am sorry to hear about your trip, but definitely understand the budget thing. As we have discussed in the past we are doing some debt paying off ourselves. However, being a grown up does suck sometimes.

I am glad you started this report, I think it is a great way for us to keep up with you and your weight loss.

Disney will always be there and you and Marc are doing the right thing for you at this time. Just think how much more you will enjoy Disney when your debt free, skinny, and possibly have a little prince or princess to share it with.

I like #4!

And I loved the Time Travelers Wife. Movie was good all things considered, it's a lot to get across and not have people confused.

More recently I really enjoyed Sarah's Key by Tatiana de Rosnay

I like pictures #2 and #4. You look great!!

My mom's method of choosing the family Christmas picture is to pick the one she looks the best in. Who cares if my eyes were closed that one year :lmao: Just kidding, but she really does choose from the ones that she looks the best in. Her theory is that she is the one doing all the work for the Christmas cards so she gets to pick.

Fortunately for you guys, you both look great in all of them. But I think I lean more toward #4.

Even though it doesn't seem like we're giving you any kind of consensus I'm going to vote for #4!!

I like the way your kinda facing Marc :lovestruc

It is hard to reconcile a book with the movie version.

Excellent, I will put it on my list!

I could really tell in these pictures of the two of us of our weight loss. It makes me so happy! I am still not sure what picture I'm going to go with. I keep changing my mind. :rotfl2:

Chiming in to vote for #2. :)
Thanks!

Thank you. Still not sure.

Thanks for following me over here. I'm okay with the trip being canceled. I'm planning on October 2010 and I think it should work out for me!

It was a very hard movie to understand. My biggest complaint about the movie was that they did age Henry very well throughout it. There wasn't enough of a difference for me, if that makes sense.

I like pictures #2 and #4. You look great!!
Thank you!

:lmao::rotfl::rotfl2: I won't lie, I have to make sure I like good in whatever picture I choose!

Thanks! I'm still not sure. I keep going back and forth.

#2 and #5 -- They are all too cute, though!

I clearly missed you started your thread until tonight, having been buried alive in High School Homecoming stuff :scared1:

SO glad that is over!!! :rotfl:

I am going to enjoy this thread, LL. What a great treat to just gab.

Oh! While I am not light fixture obsessed, you obviously have influenced many in this area -- I took pictures for you while I was in ITALY for goodness sake! HA! ;)

Looking forward to more as always...
