Chapter 17 - A Tribute to Toontown
January 16th, 2011
So, after our wild ride on "The Barnstormer," Kristen and I decided to take a thorough evaluation of Toontown, considering this was our second last time in it FOREVER. Sad, I know.
So, we began at Donald's Boat. I never actually went in this when the water was on. I guess my opportunity is gone. Nevertheless, we went inside to just look around one last time.
Next, we wandered over to "Toontown Hall of Fame." This is one of the places of my childhood. I used to recommend everyone I knew, who was going to disney, to go here to meet characters. And I used to visit it on every vacation since I was like 8. Or maybe earlier!
And I LOVED the "County Bounty" gift shop. It was so cute. I just liked how cheerful it was in there.
I found this cute shirt that's based on Toy Story. We took a picture of it for our friend Natalie because she loves Toy Story a lot!
I love Mickey and Minnie

This was actually my facebook default for the longest time and so many people liked it haha. I guess Mickey and Minnie are just attention drawers.
Kristen took a picture with them too. So cute!
So then we almost hopped in line to meet Tinkerbell and Friends... but then we didn't feel like waiting. So forward march!
We went over to Mickey's Country House instead!
Mickey's Bedroom.
Mickey's Rec. Room! They're playing Mickey Ping-Pong! And of course Donald is losing. LOL poor thing.
The result of Donald and Goofy trying to decorate a kitchen. Yeah.... What a mess.
Mickey's Shopping List (I think he needs cheese?)
Now for the backyard... Pluto's Dog House! So so so cute!
Mickey Pumpkins! These were always so cool to me.
"Please join us in the Judge's Tent..." I don't believe I ever did that. How sad. And if I did it would have been forever ago... I don't remember. At least Mickey will still be in other parts of Disney! I would miss him if he ever went away.
Mickey's Garden. How creative. Mickey Tomatoes are the best. (even though I don't like tomatoes... Disney just makes al types of food look good.)
Character Topiaries! Adorable.
And then we left.
After our adventure through Mickey's house, we wanted to take a picture of the Toontown Train Station sign. So, we went through "Toon Park" Playground to get a good view. There were little kids every where!
So, we took our picture.
And then on our way out, I was like "Yayyy I'm a child!" and started running out of the playground to get back to the sidewalk. And while I was heading out, a little kid JUMPED right at me from a platform on the playground. I was like... "SORRY!' and kept running. Kristen was like "You almost killed a child!!" I think he was okay... but it was a shock to both of us. LOL It was really amusing. And Kristen got in on video.
Our next stop in Toontown was Minnie's Country House. I want a Minnie Mailbox at my own house!!
Just Chillin' at Minnie's.
Some nice artwork.
Kristen decided to take up pottery.
Tea and Cookie Time!
Minnie's Fridge... I love refrigerators

Isn't it just so fun to look at food?!
Mickey's Birthday Cake!!
Just relaxing in the Sun Room.
And the best part... Minnie's Gazebo! I just have always found this so precious.
So, in conclusion... Toontown - you have been very good to us! And we will miss you greatly! Thanks for all of the memories
