I'm not sure it is. The menu shows pitchers of alcoholic drinks, so I don't think it is Counter Service.I believe it's counter service...no reservations required..

The people have spoken.Well that's why I can't make a reservation! I never thought they would sell pitchers of alcohol at a QS.
Thanks!!

Mmm...can't wait to eat there with my CS credits!
Correct. They don't take DDP - at least, not yet.I thought dining plan was not accepted
Disney Food Blog reported yesterday that although they are "fast casual", the staff at The Polite Pig claimed it will be a TS credit on DDP.
I don't necessarily believe that, just passing on the info.

They can suggest whatever they like, but I won't be tipping at a QS, and that's what this place is. BOG B/L has the same setup & they don't pretend to be TS.Not a very good review over at Blog Mickey: https://blogmickey.com/2017/04/review-polite-pig-disney-springs/
And it sounds like they are definitely placing themselves as a Table Service restaurant - the payment process even includes a suggested tip! According to Blog Mickey,
At checkout, you’re asked to input a tip amount before the payment is processed. While this is a “quick service” restaurant, the food is brought to your table via a pager of sorts. All you have to do is place the pager on the table and your food will be brought out. It’s the same setup as D-Luxe Burger.
I’m assuming it’s because of this table delivery that a tip is requested.
If I'm reading this right, this means you have to tip for service even before you get served? Or do you not "checkout" until after your meal? I did read that servers will take any further food orders from you at your table.
Its interesting that in all the reviews, the real raves are for the side dishes. I'm going to keep watching reviews and may consider popping in if we have an extra credit or two to share a meal. Going to be harder to justify when I can just go to Homecomin' and get properly waited on though.
