We are trying to decide on where to eat at MK. We have eaten at Crystal Palace before and really enjoyed it but wanting to try something a little different. Does anyone have any reviews or experience about the food at the plaza? Thank You:goodvibes

I just ate at the Plaza a few months ago for the first time and loved it. It's a very small restaurant with lovely decor. They serve mostly sandwiches but they were very well liked by everyone in our group and it's very refreshing on a hot day. I would definitely eat there again. :thumbsup2

We ate at both places.

We like both.

The Plaza ia a cute/quiet place to eat. We would go there again. I had the philly cheesesteak. :thumbsup2 Mostly sandwiches/soups on the menu.

So, it's all about what you want to eat. Sandwiches vs. buffet. But you can't go wrong with either. Do both

I am a fan of Crystal Palace more than the Plaza...the plaza felt like CS, but charged TS credits/prices (but there was nothing wrong with the Plaza...I just prefer CP). popcorn::

We ate at the Plaza last year and it was quite good. My husband had a sandwich (I can't remember what kind) and he like it a lot. They had a Chef Salad on the kid's menu, so I asked if it was possible to have one even though there was not one on the adult menu- they made me an adult Chef Salad and it was great. It was HUGE and so good on such a hot day! I cannot compare it to Crystal Palace as we are eating there for the first time this trip, but I would definitely eat at the Plaza again.

We love the Plaza. Probably not the best value if you're using DDP credits, but you could always pay OOP.
Their sandwiches are great and we've always enjoyed it there.

We have been to both. It is hard to compare them. My husband enjoyed his Reuben and I had the turkey club. We all added the salad to our meal and the ice cream was great. I like having to be able to sit down and have a meal without getting up and down for my food and the kids.

My son like Crystal Palace better, not for the characters, but for the buffet. He liked having more selections.

As for the value of being on the dining plan, I think it does compare when your party is adults.

Crystal Palace breakfast is $18.99 per adult, lunch is $20.99 and dinner is $28.99. For kids it is 10.99, 11.99 or 13.99.

My meal, a turkey club with salad, soda, sundae comes to $23.26, according to the menu listed on Allears. We ate there for lunch.

The Plaza kids meal is $7.59.
