The Plaza, Crystal Palace or LTT for dinner arrival night?

Opinions? Thanks:):goodvibes

How late? I ask because to me, if it were after 5, I wouldn't want to waste a park ticket, just for dinner. Normally because we drive, we arrive around 4ish and after we check in the resort, we're looking at 5ish. We just do a resort dinner and explore our resort and relax.

Our flight should be getting in at 9:30 am and we are staying at BLT with hopper passes so we're planning on going right over to MK and spending the day:)

Ahhhh, I read that wrong...thought you were getting IN late...duh! :thumbsup2 I vote Crystal Palace, good food and it "Feels" Disney like. Perfect for your first night.

Crystal Palace!

Characters and a good buffet in Magic Kingdom, what more could you want?:goodvibes

After a long day of traveling, I'd go to LTT. It's quieter and calmer.

I'd eat a nice, big dinner and head back to my hotel for a bunch of sleep. Don't want to spend my vacation being tired!

Our tradition is dinner at Crystal Palace arrival night. Not quite 100% of the time, but almost every year. Even if we arrive just in time for dinner, spectro, fireworks and maybe get some fudge on the way out of the park, it's a great way to start off the trip!

We're not a fan of Disney lunch/dinner buffets (except for Biergarten & Cape May Cafe), so I wouldn't vote for Crystal Palace. We've only done LTT for lunch and we really enjoyed it; I'm not a big fan of Thanksgiving dinner in general so we haven't/won't do dinner. We, on the other hand, absolutely love The Plaza. It might be a nice way to have a simple meal before you start your full vacation (especially if on the dining plan and all the heavy meals you will eat the rest of the week).

Crystal Palace (yum), if u have kids it's a good way to get some autographs early in the trip:thumbsup2

my family always eats at crystal palace for dinner on our first night its really good the atmosphere is nice and the characters are good and so is the food i have eaten at all 3 and we also always go to liberty tree tavern every year nd we went to the plaza in 08 nd i dont thin k we will be going back, so i will say do the crystal palace it is really good and you wil enjoy it

We are doing Crystal Palace on our first night this trip and plan on making it a tradition. Dinner with Winne the Pooh and friends is a great way to start out a Disney trip!

i vote CP. I thought the Plaza was just ok. We have only been to LTT for lunch so can't comment on dinner. We love CP. Good variety and characters!

I've never eaten at Crystal Palace or the Plaza...so I would vote LTT.
I was very pleasantly surprised by this place. I really hadn't been all that jazzed about it until we ate there. The food was INcredible, our 2nd fave of the whole trip (june 2009). The gravy is yummy! The roast beef is succulent.
Service was also great. Even our kids liked the raspberry vinagrette on the salad.
