Believe it or not, it was time to eat again.
Well, almost.
We didnt actually fill up too much at Biergarten knowing one of our favorites was on the horizon.
And our pace had slowed afterwards as we were taking in the sights more as we toured FutureWorld and saved the United Kingdom.
So we made our way back to Canada and strolled the grounds enjoying the beautiful scenery.
And we stumbled across some interesting natives
Finally, we checked in to our favorite must-do restaurant, Le Cellier.
Mmmmm, cant you just taste that steak?
While they set our table up, we headed for Kidcot.
Okay, so parent-time.
Who was the bright Imagineer that decided Sharpie should sponsor this essentially handing children PERMANENT MARKERS to play with as they wait for dinner.
PERMANENT MARKERS before taking lots of pics of precious magical moments.
Needless to say, here is the result of such a wonderful decision.
At least this time it wasnt on his face
Then we were seated.
I forgot which province we were led to as my mouth was already watering.
If you didnt know, this small restaurant is divided up by Canadian province.
And each section is decorated with artifacts of said province.
Yes kids, EPCOT is still educational.
Okay, now on to the fun.
For those Dining Plan readers out there, Le Cellier is one of the places where you can swap your drink for a non-alcoholic frozen treat.
MMMmmmmmm.
And another native .
First course PRETZEL BREAD.
Mmmmmmmmmmmm
After scarfing down some bread, I took some shots of the interior.
Then, my appetizer arrived.
Today I tried the Duck 3-Way.
It was really good although I think this has been removed from the menu.
Mom had the appetizer for two (yes they let her get it by herself).
Thats two pieces of duck something or other and two bowls of cheddar cheese soup to dip the pretzel bread in!
Even X got to try the duck it was really good.
But enough about poultry next it was time to devour filet mignons with mashed potatoes subbed in for the risotto.
I was eating so fast and in such heaven that I neglected to snap some photos.
The kids ordered butter noodles their standard at Le Cellier.
So for your viewing pleasure, we can skip to dessert.
We started with a Canadian favorite.
Hello Bullwinkle:
This looks like it would really hurt.
But it is pretty funny.
Then it started getting odd.
Not sure what this is but I think it sort of resembles a fish.
Yeah, yeah, I know.
Dont play with your food.
And we teach our kids that, too.
But the above creations were made by yours truly!
The princess went with the smores:
Too bad.
She wasnt happy at all.
Mustve been horrible.
Our Happy Resident Canadian and her Darling Daughter
And the moose they rode in on
After dinner, we headed back out into the Canadian Night Sky.
On our way back to Future World, I had one stop to make though.
It was the Food & Wine Festival and I heard tell of some great ice wine here in the Great Wine North.
It was expensive for a tiny glass but ooooh so good.
Well worth it and great nightcap for the evening.
Mmmmmm.
Now Im hungry.
Whos up for steak?
But be sure to get here next time for a trip through time!
