The Pink Panther Poll

Last night my son and I were watching the original Pink Panther cartoon together (and really enjoying it I might add), when my wife came in, sat down for a minute and finally said. "I never liked the Pink Panther. I think it must be a guy thing, kind of like the Three Stooges". Well, then we started discussing whether or not this was true, and finally she asked me to put it to the DIS to find out more. Can you believe it, she asked me TheGoofster to make a poll here on the DIS.
Anyway, so here it is. Do you like the original Pink Panther cartoon?
I am going to make this a multiple-choice poll, so that if you like you can also vote for your spouse.

Pink panther cartoons were pretty good, but I prefer the original movies with peter sellers.

Hmmm. I bought a 3 disk set (turned out to be a bootleg with a few German cartoons!) and watched it with my kids. They all watched it for a while, but then it did settle out to just me and the boy. Eldest daughter and wife grew tired of it quickly. They prefer Fat Albert by the way.

I also loved the Inspector (si, I mean oui).

Me neither. I always wondered why they stayed together with such constant confict between them. Just kidding. The show just didn't do it for me. I think I really did resent Moe, though.

I hated that cartoon because I hated the mouse (I don't even know whether he was Tom or Jerry). I may start a poll on that if there hasn't been one.

In the 5 months or so that I've been haunting the DIS boards, I don't recall ever seeing a poll regarding this very important question, so I think you may be right, and that it's time has come. Go for it. Make a poll and let's try and get to the bottom of this dilema once and for all.

Did you see the Dexter's Lab Pink Panther take-off? DeeDee was painting everything pink and Dexter was repainting it blue. My son knew it was from Pink Panther!

You gotta love teaching them the essentials of life.
My kids do watch Dexter on occassion, but I don't recall ever seeing the one you mentioned. I'll have to keep my eyes open for it.

I pretty much agree with this person, except for Tom and Jerry, Bugs, Roadrunner, Marvin the Martian, Sylvester and all of those Warner Bros. cartoons were the best.

PPanther cartoons were decent.

But when I first read this thread I thought you were talking about the movies, now those are great:

I recall liking it as a kid. I've enjoyed the Peter Sellers Pink Panther movies I've seen. Love the theme music. I didn't care for the Stooges growing up, but I've been thinking of giving them another chance. I'm a 37 yr. old female.

Just in case my post wasn't clear... I recall liking it, i.e. the Pink Panther cartoon(s) as a kid. I voted in the poll that I like(d) the cartoon (haven't seen any of them recently, though). I also like the Peter Sellers Pink Panther movies that I've seen.

I'm a woman and I love the pink panther and the stooges!! I watch both if they happen to be on. Even bought a DVD of the stooges and would buy a DVD of the pink panther. Now I have the song going through my head.
