Hot water at 6.50 today. :cool1: We had breakfast in the Manhattan restaurant today.

It was the same food but slightly nicer room. It was a bit drizzly outside as we made our way to EMH. Buzz was our first call today and this time his face was in full working order. We rode round 3 times in succession and this time there was a change in fortune - and I won each time. Dtr went onto Space Mountain before we crossed over to Fantasyland. Snow White was open today so we went on that twice then queued for about ten minutes to go on Peter Pan. It was still before half 9 so we went on the Carousel

and then had a look in Sir Mickey’s before going to queue for rope drop at Liberty Arcade. There was no CM there so no-one to drop the rope! The people in the queue were very well behaved and didn’t undo the rope themselves until they saw the people running in from Fort Comstock. All the running was for nothing, however as BTM was not working. There were lots of disappointed people around. :sad2:
We went to Indiana Jones and then back onto the sparkly, new (oh alright, dusty, old) Phantom Manor. We looked around Boot Hill on our way out and noticed as we got to the bottom that the gates were shut - they were also having technical difficulties. We went for a calming trip around on the Molly Brown - Frontierland sounds eerily quiet without the constant clattering of BTM.

After a ride on POTC we went to see if Casey Jr and LPDCDF were running, which they weren’t, so we went to Sir Mickey’s so that I could buy the t-shirt I had been eyeing up earlier. I bought a few other bits and pieces too. I wanted to buy a pencil but it had no bar code, so the CM said “I put it in as a present for you” - so nice. :)

We went to the Village for lunch then - into the New York Deli once again. We sat inside there this time to have Panini and chips (for my dtr) and chicken goujons and chips for me (for 14.62 Euros).

We went back to the Hotel to sleep this off then Dtr went swimming while I sat and watched and wrote up my trip report.

Back at the Park it was now dry and clear. We went onto Phantom Manor, which seemed to be okay after its earlier problems. Btm was also running but as we left Pm we could hear an announcement saying Btm was experiencing difficulties and riders should stay in their seats and await further instruction. Not a good day for BTM.

We crossed Central Plaza, stopping to have a little pose along with the characters on the hoardings.

Buzz was showing 80 minute wait and even the FP queue was out of the building. We skirted round this and went to watch HISTA the audience for the first time in a long while. After riding IASW we went to POTC but this too was shut due to technical problems.

BTM was open but had unfeasibly long queues, so we went to Snow White instead where the queue was less than ten minutes. We thought we’d try Pinocchio - but it was 7.05 and it had shut at 7.00. I was surprised that they had stuck rigidly to the schedule and shut it, TBH, as so many other things in the Park were closed or having difficulties that day. :confused3

We decided instead to ride on Dumbo in the dark, which we have never done before. There was just time after this to stroll down Main Street and arrive in the DLH in plenty of time for our booking in Inventions. It is no secret that I love the food in there and tonight it was as lovely as ever. We saw NINE characters, which I think is a record. The people on the next table were asking for some strange mixture for their child’s drink, which the waiter tried to produce, but had to say, apologetically, that it couldn’t be done, but he gave the child a cocktail instead, saying “that is a compliment - no charge”. Nice compliment! Dtr also had a cocktail, but unfortunately he didn’t feel so complimentary to me and I had to pay the 12.50 Euro charge for the cocktail and glowing Tinkerbell clip.

Eventually at 10.15 we paid and left, going home via the Disney store in the Village of course, for a bit of retail therapy.

Tomorrow: beautiful blue skies for our last day.
