The Peterson's Nov/Dec Surprise Trip @ CSR -- UPDATE 11/21

Wow sounds like great plans!:) I'm sure your kids are going to love it. I defintely want to have an early ADR for crystal palace to see empty main street, I think that would be amazing! Keep it up! By the way macho man is adorable! :goodvibes

Epcot looks super fun! I have never eat at San Angel Inn, but it is one of my strongest memories from my childhood trips to Epcot. There's something about that dark cave that sticks with you.

I do believe the Nestle show has closed. I had wanted to do that the last time we were at Epcot, but I was told it had ended the month before we got there. Boo!

Well, Texas football season is in full swing, which means Jeremy is gone quite a bit – Tues, Thurs. and Fri. nights. So, after the kids are in bed, I have lots of time to look at the Disboards and dream about our vacation!

Day 4, Dec. 1 – We will bus over to Hollywood Studios. This will be our only day for an official rope drop. We plan on getting a FP for TSM IMMEDIATELY! Then onto Starring Rolls Bakery for a cinnamon roll. YUM, YUM! After that, we will head back to Animation Court, see/ride everything there and ride TSM. Then it’s on to Sunset Blvd. for R’n’ RC, Beauty & the Beast – Live and TofT.

We have an ADR for 12:15 at 50’s Prime Time Café and then it’ s on to Indiana Jones, Sounds Dangerous and Star Tours, which I’m not a fan of. So, I will not be in the child swap line for that one! :sad2: Next, we’ll visit Muppets, Lights, Motor, Action and Studio Backlot Tour. We would like to see the parade at 3:00 and maybe we’ll ride the GMR again before we head out by 6:15. We have a dinner ressie for 7:10 at CRT, so we’ll take a bus to the MK and hopefully catch some of Spectromagic. This is the night I have been waiting to recreate from our Disneymoon – leaving an empty MK (or close to it). The park closes at 8:00, so we just might be able to do it.;)

Tips for HS: 1) Take pics of the kids by the Rt. 66 sign and luggage on Sunset Blvd. (if they’re still there!) 2.) Look for key under mat at Muppets 3D

I love looking for the key under the mat at Muppets. I think my sons are going to laugh when we find it! We are also eating at 50s Prime Time. Such a fun place and that fried chicken is YUM!!! I don't know if you have been keeping up on the refurb list but Star Tours will be closed while we are there. No need to worry about the child swap line there!

No Star Tours for you...it is closed (closed earlier this month and will be closed until some time next year). I bet that just brings a smile to your face. Your DHS day sounds great.

Day 5, Dec. 2 - We are spending all day at the MK. I am really looking forward to this day b/c we will be able to relax and not feel like we have to rush around. We will ride all of our favorite rides and several times if we want to.

After taking a bus from CSR to MK and then the monorail to the GF, we will have b-fast at 1900 Park Fare. We will also spend plenty of time shopping on Main St. and getting autographs that we missed on our first day here.
We have a lunch ADR for The Plaza and then I would like to take the boat over to the WL. I'm excited to see the Christmas decorations and I originally thought we might stay here instead of CSR. I changed my mind but would still love to see it. After saying goodbye to the MK:sad1:, we will head over to the Poly for dinner at O'Hana's, our favorite meal from our Disneymoon!

Day 6, Dec. 3 - We are spending our final day at WDW at Epcot, mainly WS. We're having b-fast at the Maya Grill. Because of our ADR times, we will start in Canada. I plan on making homeade passports for the kids and we will really spend time in each country getting stamps, autographs and seeing the different Santas. Our family really enjoys learning about diff. cultures and I am a travel nut, so we LOVE WS. We plan on doing several of the Kim Possible Adventures, which is right up Dillon's alley. He LOVES anything that involves science, solving problems and figuring out clues. So, he will surely have a ball with this! I would also like to pick a pearl in Japan, see the glass blower in Germany, hear and see all the musical acts and of course, try a slushie in France! Our lunch ADR is at Chefs de France and our last meal for the trip will be at Akershus. We will see Illum. one last time before saying goodbye to the parks. Only 20 more days 'til we hit the road!!:cheer2:

Erin, Day 5 and 6 sound great. And I absolutely LOVE the costumes. They are just too cute. I wanted to squeeze each one of the kids.

Less than three weeks to go. :woohoo::woohoo::woohoo:

Well, I FINALLY made the packing list, which I usually don't procratinate with. I know it's b/c I have to come up w/ different outfits for warm and cold weather and I know I will probably overpack. I don't have specific clothes, just "outfits" on the list. The smart thing would be to do laundry, which is what my DH sugg. we do. I despise the idea of doing laundry while on vacation:mad: But, we'll prob. do it considering the extra jackets we'll have to bring will take up more space in the luggage.
Tonight, while eating supper, a Disney commercial came on. DS was watching w/ wide eyes and said "That's cool!" I couldn't see the TV but DH said it included 2 boys meeting Woody. DH and I looked at each other and just smiled, knowing we will be there 1 week from today and that DS has no idea what's ahead. I love surprises!

We've missed you around here. I can't beleive that your trip is a week from today!

It's been cold there at night...my best friend just got home today and she is a Floridian and said the nights have been very chilly. Dress warm.

Thanks Kat! We are going to layer, layer, layer. I am bringing our big coats just in case, along with several light jackets. Oh, and mittens also for Aubrie, Dillon and I. Jer laughed at that idea but I don't like to be cold, so I WILL be prepared for the colder weather!! We are planning on renting a locker each day to put our coats and Aubrie's costumes if she wants to change.

I think that is a great idea. Nicki said it wasn't cold enough for gloves, but they definitely needed jackets. Hopefully they'll have a warm up for you when you get there. :)
