The Ovation of the Seas has been excellent for this limited mobility cruiser! ( and other comments!)

I use a rollator and have received assistance whenever I leave or come back on the ship. There are always bumps that make using the wheels difficult when using the ramps.

However, the fact that the restrooms have automatic door openers is absolutely wonderful!! Especially on DCL’s Wish, the Ladies room outside Arendale’s dining room has given me tons of trouble getting into. It’s wonderful not having to rely on the kindness of others to get into bathrooms.

The access chair to use the pool has been wonderful for me to use. We go early in the morning and use the indoor pool. It has been very easy to get an attendant to operate the chair. This had not been true on the Oasis in October.

All in all, I have found the food to be far superior to what we experienced on the Oasis as well. After that experience, I truly never wanted to sail RCCL again, and we are Diamond. However family and friends chose this ship to Alaska, and we definitely wanted to join the group. We are so glad we did.
