The Ouija Board.

Yes, I believe in ghosts. I also believe, however, that several people who believe their house is haunted....don't actually have a haunted house at all. They're just jumping to conclusions every time they hear the tiniest little sound/see dust float by the camera. Because you know..."that's not dust! IT'S AN ORB!" D=!

The only 'Ghost Hunting' show that I find believable is Ghost Hunters. That's it. Ghostly Encounters simply tells stories from people who THINK they have a haunted house. But...there could easily be other explinations for what they are dealing with. Most Haunted? That show ANNOYS THE BANANA'S OUT OF ME. They see dust: "ZOMG! LOOK! IT'S A GHOST!" They hear an old building creek: "ZOMG! LOOK! IT'S A GHOST!" They say they hear voices...but I don't hear any voices. And then! They say they see faces in things. Well, guess what guys! Our brains are automatically 'programed' to see faces. We could seriously see faces in ANYTHING, from the textures in the wall to toast.

Just because you see a 'face', it does not mean that there is a ghost in your sandwich!

Thus, I believe in ghosts, but it takes A LOT for me to actually think it's a ghost and not something else. :cutie:

I've never used an Ouija board, but I'm kind of curious as to if they actually work or if it's just the people who have their hands on them moving the little thing-mabob. My mother won't even let one come into our house, however, because she doesn't trust them. She's all like "Why risk having something 'evil' come into our house?"

I dunno...I'm kind of up in the air about them. They may work...but until I actually SEE one working and know for 100% sure that no one 'alive' is moving that thing....I just...don't know if they're truely doing something or fake or people over-reacting to nothing like they have been known to do on several other occasions. :headache:

One theory is that when you place your fingers gently on the planchette, it begins to move from the vibrations of you trying to hold your fingers steady. And then I guess your thoughts begin to change the vibration in your fingers moving it to whatever you're thinking..

Or something like that.

When its unexplainable to the person they blame the first thing they came...ghosts and the dust just happens to appear at the time so it "just has to be a ghost".

I'm going to be amused if I watch TV and they speak about "the Ghostly face in the Sandwich" now haha...but I can actually see it happening one day, which is a worrying thought haha.

yes, i believe in ghosts and spirits.
i also believe that i am a little "in tune" to that sixth sense you get if you walk into a building and you feel something just isnt right. my grandma also can do this.

i have never used a ouija bored in my life and never plan on it. im not saying their bull and im not saying their real. im not going to tempt anything though. ive learned my lesson in opening doors and forgetting to make sure that they are fully closed before walking away.

and about the candle. it is possible that the spirit was using it for communication, like a trigger object, which im guessing is sort of what a oujia board is. but fire gives off heat and energy, therefore creating a small EMF, right?
