This will be our first trip to Disney. Going to try my hand at a PTR.

Cast:

Leigh (me) 45 - stay-at-home mom. Never been to Disney.
Scott (dh) 39 – He will be turning 40 while we are at Disney. At his graduation from high school they went to WDW. But that was 21 years ago so I don’t count it. ;)
Shelby (dd) 11 – Ms. Tween. She loves Stitch.
Kaleigh (dd) 10 – The Princess and Hello Kitty addict.

That is what I have any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. My family thinks I am obsessed with Disney now. The planning, making passports and t-shirts for the trip might add to their thinking. I have spent countless hours here on the boards getting info. I am counting down the days.

I have been thinking our plans over and we are going to pay OOP for CRT. So that leaves us one TS left. I am having a hard time choosing a day to fit it in and what restaurant. Anyone have ideas?

Now I am very excited. Paid off our trip today. WOOHOO!

We are going to pay for CRT OOP and I made ADRs at Raglan Road for our first night there. It looked good and I saw good reviews. We will be at DTD that evening so I figured it worked well.

Received my 24 tshirts from jiffyshirts and my transfer paper from HP. Now the work begins printing off the designs and ironing them on the shirts. I have made passports for the girls to get signed/stamped at Epcot. I still have to print off autograph pages and get them together.

I just feel a huge step closer having made the final payment. I count down each day now. Gonna get back to printing transfers. :)

yes it is. Thanks. I was worried our itinerary was too much but I did put a break in for each day. My dh laughs saying I am more excited than the kids, and I probably am.

Got all 25 shirts made and tipping envelopes. Still have to do autograph books. LOL I am worried what am I going to have to work on when I get home from Disney.

This shirt has the stick family on the front and what happens in Disney on the back.

Everything you made is sooo cute! I especially love the passports. And I can't believe after reading everything on the DIS that you don't know what you'll do when you get back! You'll plan your next Disney vacation, that's what! :cool1: Even if you won't be going back for a few years, you will know from this trip what you would and would not do next time and can make tentative plans for such. Hope you have a wonderful first trip! Here's some pixie dust to take with you: pixiedust:

Thanks so much. LOL I know I should start planning my Disney vacation when I get back. If we are offered bounceback when we are there I know I will book to come back then. Hopefully on the second trip I will not drive my family crazy. I hope they get as excited as I am next week since it will be so close to us leaving.

thanks for the pixie dust.

Just remember to ask about bounceback as we have gone the past two years in a row and nobody mentioned it to us and we never saw the fliers. We first learned about it on here and will definitely make sure to book for next year when we go. And even if the rest of your family is not quite as excited when you leave, I'm positive they will be when you get inside your first park, it's just so magical you can't help but get into the Disney spirit!:yay:

Just one more day and we begin our trip. Been packing and washing clothes the last couple days. I hope I will be able to sleep tomorrow night. I also hope my kids live through the 8 hour drive Saturday :rotfl2: I finished the girls autograph books and got them bound at staples. Then I decide to spruce up their penny containers. Here are the picts:

Now back to packing and double checking list.

I love those autograph books! Def. the most creative ones I've seen on the DIS! Also, just realized that you are officially, hopefully, at WDW today! Yay! :cool1: I hope your trip is everything you hoped it would be and can't wait for a TR when you return!
