Amber -- I know what you mean about the annoying/cute thing. It's definitely cute! Even though it might irritate you when he does it, you'll miss it when he outgrows it. Hopefully he
will outgrow it, and not still be covering his ears when he's a teenager!

My girls love hearing about the silly things they used to do when they were little, especially the stinker, "little turd" stuff.
Ashley: I don't know why the Redbox codes aren't working for you. On the website you should be able to find a customer service number, I would call them. I had trouble with a DVD being dirty one time and I called them, they were very nice and gave me a few extra free rentals. Of course, those might not work for you

but hopefully they can figure out what the problem is. I wonder if it's a problem with the machine? Stupid question, but you are using the right codes on the right days before they expire, right? And pressing the "use promo code" button? I had a coworker tell me that she doesn't think the codes work if you reserve your movies in advance online, don't know if you were doing that or not. Good luck! I know it's only $1, but it's still annoying when it should be free and it's not. That would make me mad!
I'm glad I asked my mom to record Idol for us, because just as I thought my DVR was full and didn't record it. So tonight we are headed to Mom's house to watch Tuesday's Idol. I hate watching it over there, because my folks don't usually watch and they always talk through the whole thing with all these dumb comments about how everyone looks, it's hard to just enjoy it that way. Remember the show Rock Star? Mom took one look at the guy who ended up winning, and said, "Oh he'll never win, he has way too many tattoos." Ummm, because apparently in her world rock stars don't have tattoos?!
Nicole -- you were running around in the art museum?! What kind of project are you working on?
Lyzzie didn't come home until 9pm yesterday. She and her friend spent 8 hours in the waterpark, and did the same thing the day before!! I'm surprised she wasn't all pruney. She had a great time. They got a free breakfast because the hotel room was overrun with ladybugs - the girls counted 35 ladybugs on ONE window and said there were 2 more windows that looked the same! The lady at the front desk told them, "Oh Kansas and Missouri have been having a problem with ladybugs." Lyzzie's friend's mom said, "Uhhh, lady we LIVE in Kansas and haven't seen any." That's when they were offered the free meal. They didn't want to change rooms because they had already unpacked.

I guess ladybugs aren't that bad! The girls had a great time. Now I'll have to think of some way to reciprocate and bring Lyzzie's friend somewhere with us.
Hope all my friends are having a great day!!
