The only bad meal of the trip

We ate at many restaurants and were impressed with all of them but one. Cinderella's Royal Table.

We did this for dinner before MVMCP. We had to wait about 15 min. for the Cinderalla photograph and then we were seated. We waited another 15 min. before our drink and appetizer order was taken

My husband ordered the BLT salad - only good thing about the meal.

I ordered the corn and crab chowder. It was bland without any chunks of crab, just eh.

Entree time.

I had looked so forward to the lamb chops because I love lamb. I was never asked how I wanted my lamb served (I like it medium rare) and it came out with 4 tiny chops, a spit of potatoes and a spit of veggies. The lamb was almost inedible. It was soooooo gristly and it was very rare. I didn't mind so much that it was raw...errrr..rare, but the gristle ruined everything.

Dessert time.

My husband got the chocolate cake thing, didn't like it. He said it was dry and very unpalatable. I opted for the chocolate creme brulee. OMG, they should be ashamed!!! It was coffee flavoured chocolate pudding with NO CRUST at all. It was horrible!!

My 6 year old loved his meal and the mice (Suzy and Pearla) but that didn't make it worth 140.00!!

It was so bad! First time there and never again!

I second this emotion! It was our last meal of the week (yesterday, lunch). It was the most filthy restaurant out of the ones we visited (we did deluxe, so I visited a lot of places) and the food was not even remotely memorable. Go to Akershus and save your credits. Even the princesses at Akershus are prettier and spend way more time talking to the kids, even though it was much busier the day the went there.

This restaurant is in desperate need of a refurbishment. Please listen, WDW! No white gloves standard is followed here. Yuck. Parents, save your $. You get the photo package at Akershus, too and you meet Cindy there as well. I feel bad that I wasted my dining credits here. I could have had two more nights at Boma...

We did not like CRT at all. We went on my daughter's birthday. She was wearing her birthday button and had just come from BBB so she was all dolled up. Not one of the princesses said "Happy Birthday" except Snow White who said "Is anyone celebrating anything today?" while grabbing my daughter's autograph book and signing. She didn't even look up at my daughter. The rest of the princesses just ran up grabbed the books, signed posed and took off without any small talk whatsoever.

It almost seemed that they had a bet who could get through the room the fastest.

The food (breakfast) was a joke. The only decent item of food was the blueberry danish. The eggs were gross and everything else was food you would get at a Best Western. You know the free breakfast that they put out in the lobby?

The service was fine.

For the life of me I can't figure out the attraction to that place except to say that you "ate at the castle". I call it a tourist trap.

It's back to Akershus for us. We even got a card signed by the princesses there on my daughter's birthday the previous year. Food is much better too.
