Welcome to my first ever trip report.

My wife Drid and I (Greg) just got back from a wonderful trip celebrating our 30th Anniversary!! I know we don't look a day over 40, but hey we got married when we were very young!

The view from the Bay Lake Tower breezeway looking at Space Mountain and the Castle.

We had a blast (our kids are still mad at us for not bringing them--but they are 25 and 20 and both in college) during our 5 days at Bay Lake Tower. We hit theme parks, water parks, music concerts that lasted until 1:00am, some great restaurants and basically acted like kids.

This trip with just the two of us was something I always wanted to do, and my wife humored my Disney obsession and I humored her obsession - - she took over 750 pictures on our trip, and I hope you will enjoy following along.

So a little note about the titles. I am a big fan of quality TV shows, and one of my favorite TV shows of all time is Friends!

To honor that TV show the title of each page will begin with . . . "The One Where/When, etc.", which is the way they titled all of their episodes.

First a question - - - is there any better day than the first day of a vacation, especially a trip to Disney??

We were up bright and early for a 6:55am flight down to Orlando. With a 3 hour flight from Minnesota and a one hour time difference, this would put us in Florida around 11:00am. We are very fortunate living in Minnesota with Delta and Sun Country that we can almost always get a direct flight and in cities that both airlines fly we can get a pretty good price. This time around it was less than $300/each, so we decided not to use our frequent flyer miles and save them for something later.

The big surprise for us - - - Delta upped their game. Nice leather (fake leather?) seats and free entertainment in the headrest directly in front. Sweet!! I ended up watching the latest Avengers movie (Civil War) and the next thing I knew we were descending into Orlando.

It was almost time to jump on our first ride of the trip.

See you next time!!
