Enjoying your DR very much! Can't wait to try Beaches and Cream and BOG for the first time our next trip.
I am really surprised that the waitstaff wouldn't remove the fries for you that you have to resort to smashing them into a napkin and putting them on the table.
Sorry your meal didn't go like you wanted but that seemed extreme to me.
I thought it was a bit extreme too, and not to be snarky, but if you are so worried about eating healthy, why are you upset about a cupcake?![]()

I thought I had subbed but oops! I'm definitely following along. We were at WDW at the same time. I looked at your dining line up but other than your BOG dinner I don't think we would have run into each other.
You look so adorable for your 1900 PF dinner - I love the dress. Definitely princess worthy!
The 4 cheese pesto pizza at WPE is my favorite and I still think of it as WDW food and forget that we have a WP near my house that serves that pizza.
The kid turkey sandwich is a great idea...I love kid meal options for something lighter. Looks like BOG will make a re-appearance for the two of you.![]()

So much negativity. When a series of events happens that make you upset, you react in a way you probably wouldn't otherwise. Considering she didn't throw the French fries at the waiter, I don't think it hurt anyone.
Plus, I see her point. When on vacation and want to eat semi-healthy, you're still on vacation at the end of the day. So by eating a healthier meal, you have more wiggle room for dessert. Is it how you'd diet in real life? No. But as she said, it was vacation and they wanted to eat healthy but not deny themselves of the yummy things.
Hi Katt,
New to the Disboard. Fellow Canadian. You had me entertained reading your food reviews. Thanks for the experience! Counting down to our trip in Dec.
So.. you are saying that you liked the dole whip! They look awesome but I've never had one. I'll blame it on the long lines! (They really do stretch to the Aladdin attraction sometimes - at D-land.) People must love these things.
Dole whips look so yummy but I've never had one. I have an odd opinion on pineapple, sometimes I like it sometimes I don't. Do I'm not sure how ill feel about it.

Haha I love it! I'm already counting down the days!
Hi Katt,
I'm from Calgary too. If you are fan of great pickles then you need to try Keith's Deli in the plaza across Macleod Trail from Chinook Centre. Their sandwiches are awesome too! They've been in business for 37 years, I've been eating there for 30! You mention ordering kids meals so is it ok for adults to do this? regards, Brenda
