If she/he let you continue, then she/he would not have been able to prove Matt wrong about it closing after 250. Closing it on 249 was kind of funny. I think that was the intent. It also helped you win. Had it been closed on 250, Matt could have won his second in a row.

Such a shame that you've had to apply for other jobs when the issue seems to be with an *idiot* who really should be doing what he needs to. Is there any way of appealing to corporate or is policy implementation based on what the individual wants to do?

Well, some of the things he does (like not getting the following week's schedule done by noon on Thursday) go against union policy. But all I can do is wait until I have to join the union and then file a grievance, which he would likely retaliate for.

So I'm just looking for another job.
