Wow I never expected to see WDW do anything like this ! But it is a great idea....they may lose out on the ticket price but will more than make it up in food and merchandise ( atl least they would from me ) .

Not only that- like the article says- no one spends their birthday alone! All their guests have to buy tix to celebrate with them!

Disney will probably make MORE money out of this!

That's true. I didn't think about that . I do like that if you already have your tickets or are an annual pass holder you can get a gift card for the ticket amount , thought that was pretty cool. Just wish DH and I had our b-days later in the year so it might be a possibility to get down there for them.

Just a friendly FYI ~ there is a link at the end of the week to the new thread and all you have to do is click that then when you are in the new thread click on thread tools (top right area) and click on submit to thread. Then it will show up in your UserCP (top left area) every time you go on the DIS unless you delete it

It says .....

If you have a multi-day ticket or are a Seasonal/Annual Passholder, you can choose from the following options:

1. A One Day Magic Your Way Base Ticket which can be used anytime before your next birthday
2. A special "Birthday FastPass" for the celebrant and up to 5 members in his/her party - NOTE: These are limited and may not be available after 11:00am
3. A Birthday Fun Card (see below) equal in price to a One Day Magic Your Way Base Ticket that can be used on your birthday for merchandise, activites and activities. (Adults receive the equivalent of an adult ticket, kids age 3 -9 get the equivalent of a child's ticket)
