The old world of color was better than the new one?

Apparently from other board and blog sources the Frozen segment was in fact jammed in there by higher ups at the last minute during the "Frozen everywhere...now" frenzy. While this could be speculation, the abrupt change in flow of the show would lend credence to this rumor. The "Why the Frozen interlude" (we call it WTFi) is the only low point for us and we really enjoy the show. For us it's comparable to or slightly better than the old show and invokes fond memories and has a similar power to the old show. A a closet Disney historian I really like the nod to Walt and the DLR history.

My DH and I are huge into the history of DLR and anything that has to do with Walt Disney, I am excited to see this nod to him and his original park plus I'm excited to see the new show. We were last there in 2013 so we have only ever seen the old one and I thought that was amazing.

I HATED the original show. And when I say original, we saw it the first week it opened. It was pointless and disjointed. Nothing flowed, it was just a bunch of scenes of Disney movies.
I reluctantly decided to see the Celebrate version earlier this month and was blown away. It was SO Much better than the original.

While the new "Celebrate" had some nice clips of vintage Mickey and Walt, it definitely failed to evoke the same emotion for me than the original show. While I enjoyed both, the original show was far better IMO. But you really have people on both sides here. Everyone's opinion is different.

We like the original version the best. We do enjoy Celebrate with the parts that shows Walt but NPH was in too many scenes for us. Winter Dreams has too much Frozen.

I think they'll run Celebrate until they switch to the Winter Dreams version. It doesn't make sense to bring back the old version or debut a new one for just 2 months. And I think Winter Dreams will be back. Or at least some Winter overlay that includes lots of Frozen.

Themes and subject matter aside, I feel like the original had better fountain and effect choreography and better use of color which, you know, is pretty important for a show called World of Color.
