The official write to VMK about firework scoring thread

Well, I contacted the black hole a while back about the scoring system on fireworks...as expected heard nothing. But today, I was in a couple of what would have been great games, when each time it was ruined by a 240 stop.

One game I had no chance of winning, I had 202 start level 5 and two players had 209 and 210 or so, but thats the kind of game that makes you really push on , unless that is , it is always at the back of your mind they will stop and you will never know what the outcome would have been.

It's not the spoiling of the enjoyment that is wrong with this scoring system, it is just plain wrong, you should not get more credits for coming 2nd or 3rd than you do for winning.

Anyway, anyone else who is annoyed at this, please post here and drop a line to the black hole. I've just written them again, but one or two voices won't have any effect, so please send at least a quick message.

EDIT: Forgot to say that I told them that if they cannot change the credits awarded , then maybe they could add some kind of prize to first place

I for one wish they would add a bonus to the first place finish like they did during everest month with the ice cube chairs. They sure come in handy and have so many uses. Hmmm maybe a post like comes with the pirate stools ... can never have ( or get ) enough of those. At least if they did that more people might try for first place and make it more of a competition. I get annoyed to when I have a really good game going against some of the players I know are good and I end up in first because they bagged it in the last stage to get the credits. I admit I have now stopped clicking in the last round and go for the credits bc I know the better players ahead of me are going to do it to. If I am going to spend 10-15 minutes in a game of fireworks I want to get the most for my effort.

Just my 10 credits ( or 2 cents ) worth
