Hi All! Quickly saying hello and thank you! We had a great day! I know I am nuts to be DISing but I had to get on the net and print directions to Mystic...

I will post details sometime soon! Everything was beautiful!

Thank you again!

Love and hugs to you guys!

CONGRATS!! :bride: :groom:

Welcome back Glynis!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just got in from Kyle's Legion game, he pitched and is now 3-1. We won 14-5 and he pitched a complete game! We're so proud of him because the teams that he's pitched against have lots of college boys who are eligible to come back and play Legion ball. We have a new coach and he opted not to bring back the graduates because he wants to get this team ready for next year.

Sorry for the proud Mom moment, we just don't have any family to brag to so it's on y'all!!

We had leftover chili and fruit for dinner.

Aimeedyan Your pictures are gorgeous. Your chicken dish looks very good.

liamandcaili I love brie I have just about every cheese know to man in my house no wonder I can't get rid of the mice. ;)

Kathy brag away! Yeh Kyle:cool1: :thumbsup2

Well I better go cover my grays so I can go to bed before midnight.

Kathy---you bet your sweet nola behind you have family to brag to!!!! ALL OF US!!!! Tell Kyle his "AUNT" in Maine is super proud of him!! What a great pitcher he is...brag away we are all so proud of him!!!

Aimeedyan--great photos, mmmm

Lauren---I mean Mrs. Tom.....I had a feeling we would be hearing from you today,lol.....glad your day was a perfect as we all knew it would be.....enjoy your honeymoon!!

Glynis---welcome home....how was the trip??

Sheryl----SOOOOO any (ahem) kitchen porn photos for us to see today.....just tell Mario (said with r rolled) that we are just curious as we are so interested in your whole remodel process, and want lots of b4 during and after photos.....yada yada.....I think he will buy it, as long as you don't ask him to strike a pose with a bottle of magic shell and a glass of rosa.....................BUT if he will do that go for it!!!

Hersey---hope you washed that gray right out of your hair!!

Today Ross and I ran around on screech as it was a crazy start to summer. This is Ross' busiest week.....up at 7 ran to the bank, then over to swim lessons, hopped over to the martyr in laws, as she had offered to sew Ross patch on his jujitsu gi for him, and had to listen to her complain about grandma who was getting a bath from the aide who comes in....told her I would be back later for it, ran ross to olympia sports for wrestling shoes...grabbed him a burger, stopped at home to get his shoe bag and water, ran him to wrestle clinic, did a few groceries while he was there, got those home and put away then, picked him up, ran back to mil to get the gi, and listen to how hard it was to do and how she poked herself over and over, and how she is so tired of having to take care of grandma....(who poor thing does not have a clue where she is or why.....she is asking what state she is in and that she didn't bring any money with her on the trip etc etc then the same thing happens again) anywho---you get the drift on that....we left ther,e and had to run to the next town over as I had promised Ross that I would take him to gamestop to trade in some games and his game cube as he now has the wii........from there we were able to finally go home and I had a slew of phone calls to deal with....which half will have to be dealt with tomorrow as everything was closed.............then I fed ross.....leftovers.......and a salad...................now I have to fold clothes and iron for tomorrow...................tomorrow isn't much better as Ross has swim until 10 then wrestle from 2-5 then karate from 5:20-8pm.....less running though and more blocks in between.......

Hope all are having a wonderful night!!!

Way to go Kyle!

Hey everyone! I just wanted to report what I made: Baked Turkey Legs.

I baked 3 of them in a covered Corningware dish. I used a packet of powdered ranch dressing mix and a packet of turkey gravy mix - I mixed them together in a cup of water and poured it over the legs. I also added a little salt, pepper, poultry seasoning, and minced onions.

It took about an hour to cook, and it turned out VERY well. Thanks for all of your ideas on this thread. I've learned alot about seasoning meat from here! :goodvibes

Today we are having leftover chicken noodle soup.

WFD at your house?

You're killing me!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: Sounds like you had one heck of a day yesterday Aunt Wendie!!

Thanks to all of you for letting me brag about my boy.:goodvibes

WFD tonight - Chicken breasts in a light tomato, wine & sour cream sauce, pasta and oven roasted brussel sprouts.

Morning all. Last nights bbq was really good--I've never made my own bbq sauce before, and it was so much better than bottled sauce. tonight will be boring--pasta with a doctored up jarred marinara sauce; maybe some cheesy garlic toast as well.

Kathy--Brag away! Congrats Kyle!!!

Kathy - Congrats to your boy. I would be taking a proud mama moment for that too.

Wendie - Thank you for the diet coke up the nose this morning. :lmao: Now all I can picture is Sheryl sneaking the bottle of Magic Shell closer and closer to where Mario is working.

Lindsay - WOW, that chicken was good. Everyone loved it. Thanks for the recipe.

Tonight's dinner is going to be a tomato macaroni with a salad and some garlic bread.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Wendie, just reading your post made me tired! Good grief! I hope you get a break soon.

I am happy to report that I did not burn down the house with the rotisserie last night. In fact, the cornish hens came out really good! I have pictures that I will post later.

WFD tonight is one of two things: if we eat at home it is going to be a pan bagnant--mozzarella, tomato, basil, olives, olive oil, balsmaic, roasted peppers, sweet onion, etc. on a baguette with strawberries. However, we might go out, because there is a dinner happening at a local place that is featuring beers from one of DH's favorite breweries (dogfish head). We are just going back and forth on whether we feel like going out on this hot and hazy day.

Wendie - Thank you for the diet coke up the nose this morning. :lmao: Now all I can picture is Sheryl sneaking the bottle of Magic Shell closer and closer to where Mario is working.
Gretchen - And a thank you for diet coke up my nose!:lmao: This is a vicious cycle!

Well, the gutter mind that I am..... I got to kitchen porn and stopped dead there thinking.....Gee...that gives new meaning to food porn, now doesn't it?!? I keep picturing Sheryl taking sundae fixins out of the freezer and handing them to Alexis. When her arms get too full Sheryl batts her eyes at Mario and says "can you hold this for me for a minute?" hands him the magic shell and walks Alexis out to the patio....on her way back in she snaps the Mario Magic Shell pic! and runs to post it here!!!:lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao:

Break time! I'm worn out after all of that. I have to do cardio tonight......can you just post this again? I think that'll cover it for me!

Gretchen - And a thank you for diet coke up my nose!:lmao: This is a vicious cycle!
No diet coke up the nose here, but I gotta go change shirts after forgetting you don't laugh out loud when you are trying to swallow!

Sheryl...READ What Lori put................That could work......a Mario (remember r rolled) picture like no other....and if he is holding the magic shell then it is true Food Porn!!!! Not quite WFD but.........................never mind............:flower3:

Gretchen- I love it, I just picture Sheryl sneaking around with a bottle of magic shell in her pocket and a glass of rosa in her hand.......poor Mario (r rolled) will think she is a lush....

liamsaunt--congrats on not burning down your house last night....that always makes for a good evening....not surprised the game hens came out great as you are a great cook!!

Right now we are in between events....Ross is home until wrestling at 2. We only have a 10 min span to get food into him before he heads to karate this evening, so he will have a disgusting snack that I hardly allow except in times like this of (gag) a bologna lunchable. He is not going to be that hungry as it is the triple Hs here today (hazy hot humid) and where he wrestles is an oven. Once he is done with karate tonight at 8, I will make him something even better then a lunchable.........mac and cheese:rotfl: ....with carrot sticks and grapes though....that helps:rolleyes1 Kris and I will fend for ourselves......which means Kris will have his favorite supper.....cereal, most likely fruity pebbles................I will probably have a weight watcher meal......or a piece of cake..................decisions.........sort of like a ying yang thing........:rotfl:

hope you are enjoying the day!

Kathy- You have a big family! We just don't live in the same town. Keep sharing his accomplishments with us, it is not bragging, you are simply keeping his cheering section in the loop :cheer2::cheer2:

:faint: It would take me two days to recover! As to the martyr in law..... She would give me a :headache:

Thanks for the idea. I never could think of anything to do with them and they are my favorite part of the turkey.

Morning all. Last nights bbq was really good--I've never made my own bbq sauce before, and it was so much better than bottled sauce.

I've only made it once or twice, but it is worth the effort, isn't it?

Wendie - Thank you for the diet coke up the nose this morning. :lmao: Now all I can picture is Sheryl sneaking the bottle of Magic Shell closer and closer to where Mario is working.

Now I have this visual of Sheryl skulking around with her magic shell and a glass of Rosa and it won't go away. There goes any chance of getting anything done here today :rotfl:

I am happy to report that I did not burn down the house with the rotisserie last night. In fact, the cornish hens came out really good! I have pictures that I will post later.

:thumbsup2 I knew that the house was safe. If you want my vote, I am always in favor of going out to eat :thumbsup2
