Just had to jump in to say " How much do you love Brothers and Sisters!?" i cannot get enough of that show..it is def. my new favorite!

It's by far my favorite show on TV!!!!

Gretchen - I've only been to two of your choices, Cali Grill & Flying Fish and I wouldn't cancel either one! Not much help, huh?

The entry gate at Disneyland. There was Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Donald, Goofy. Cute, cute, cute!

Inside the gate. Mickey was made out of gourds.

Breakfast on Saturday. Bloody Marys at Rainforest Cafe. Rick couldn't figure out why we couldn't find bloody marys...I had to remind him that most of the normal people don't drink liquor at 10:30 am!

Our first Dole Whip Floats in Adventureland.

And the Haunted Mansion all dressed up for a Nightmare Before Christmas. I didn't resize this one so ya'll could see all the detail.

Most of the time we just walked on Haunted Mansion. Bloody marys I thought they were considered in the vegetable catergory of the food pyramid.

Nancy and Kathy - thanks for the bday wishes for my darling girl. She had a good bday last night and even blew out the candle all by herself! However, she wouldn't eat the doughnut the candle was in, I had to get her a new one. I have no idea why but autism is a strange disorder. She loved her gifts and the therapists when WAY overboard again. Those are young girls who need their money and yet they insist on spending too much on bdays, etc on us. I feel like their mother and hate to see them spending their money, you know how that is.

I.m glad her day was fun! Gretchen, the girls want to share with your DD, they love her and enjoy seeing her smile. Now as to the candle in the doughnut, my sisters kids would never have touches food that had a hole in it even though that hole came from their candle. They would not have touched the cake if there was any possibility that candle wax dripped on it. They continue to confuse her now and they are all adults

Ladies, I am doing that annoying thing I do just before vacation - tweaking my dining reservations. I had planned on cancelling the Artist Point reservation, but so many of you told me to keep it. However, I need to delete one of the following:

Artist Point
California Grill
Yachtmans Steakhouse
Flying Fish

Which would you delete?

I have only been to California Grill and Yachtsman and I would not delete either. I guess I am no help here

Don't feel badly about your tweaking, I did that this morning! I have been trying to get 1900 PF since I heard that the stepsisters are there and finally got it for the 11th. I canceled Chef Mickey and booked this one.

Just a FYI- I don't remember giving my cell phone number on the rest of my ADR's, I think I used my home phone, but I used it for this one. I did not want to cancel CM until I let DD know but the CM found it and told me I had to cancel it or she could not book the new one. There was no problem because we do not double book but I was surprised.

Yachtman. Don't get me wrong, it was a decent meal but it wasn't all that. Atmosphere is sorta boring and the food wasn't as good as places like Jiko.

Gretchen--I've been to Artist Point and Cali Grill and LOVED both of them--so I'm no help either I suppose!

Tonight is going to be a new chili recipe from Cooking Light and cornbread. I'm trying to make believe it feels like fall, and have some warm comfort food. If it's yummy, I'll post tomorrow.

Kathy--I went to the store specifically searching for ingredients to make the german chocolate bars and wouldn't you know the ONE grocery store we have was out of the frosting--guess that's a sign.

I just heard from Kris and the news isn't as good as hoped. The surgery lasted longer than usual because the Dr. found a lot of scar tissue that had to be cleaned out. The tear of the TFC couldn't be repaired but the Dr. did clean up the edges of it for now. She is in a lot of pain probably because the joint had to be worked so thoroughly. They are going back to the Dr. on the 17th to see what the next step will be and she is still facing a 4-6 week recovery now.

Kris is asking for prayers that she heal quickly and the news on the 17th will be good.

Gretchen, I am sorry I missed your daughter's bday...It sounds like she enjoyed it...you are very lucky to have therapists that have become part of the family.

I didn't even think about it when I was packing, but Rick pointed out that it was a good thing I didn't bring my Red Sox hat to wear. Yeah, that'd be good- right in the middle of Anaheim!

You wouldn't have been alone. There was a pretty decent Red Sox crowd at the stadium. I'm glad you had a good time, and thanks for the pictures!

Laura is going to have to come over and take my fridge contents home to her house!

If you put them together tonight, Mom and Dad can bring them to me tomorrow. It's Caili's curriculum night and M+D are babysitting.

I haven't been to Yachtmans, but I've been to the other three. CG and Artist Point are far superior to Flying Fish, in my opinion. We liked Flying Fish okay, but if I had to pick between those three, Flying Fish would get deleted.

Hi all! Finally had that tooth removed today so just mashed potatoes for me. I make a hamburger for Alex.

I'm sorry Wendie's surgery didn't go as planned hopefully her recovery will be uneventful.
