Kathy, You and your Mom are in my prayers.

It's finally cold here too...19 this morning going up to 29.

Last night's chicken bake was really good. The recipe is also on the stove top box...

My DS and I are going to see my Mom later today and may take her out to eat or get some type of delivery.

Have a great day!

I want to let you all know that Kathy's (Tigerkat) Mom had a stroke yesterday. Please offer some prayers for good wishes for her and for her family if you can. I know that your kind thoughts and prayers were a blessing for me during my Mom's illness.

Thanks for letting us know! Both of them will be in my prayers.

Tigerkat--sending lots of prayers your way!:grouphug:

I'm going to try Glynis's LIme Chicken Tacos. It's BRRRRR cold here too this am! AAAHH, just saw the weather report--a possible winter storm here this weekend! I left Wisconsin for a reason!;)

I hope you like the recipe!

The pork chops I made last night were a big hit!!! The cooked apples and stuffing were just right with the pork chops. Definitely a keeper!

Tonight we are having Inside Out Bacon Cheeseburgers. The kids will have them on buns, DH and I will have them without buns. A green salad on the side, and I'm thinking some kind of cobbler for dessert. It's so cold, we need something warm to help us out.

I wish we would get up to 29 degrees! Currently it's 5 degrees, and I have to go do my volunteer hours at the school. All I really want to do is curl up with a good book in front of the fireplace with a mug of tea in my hand!

:grouphug: for Kathy and her mom.

I feel for all of you in the cold, been there, done that. It's 74° here right now.

Last night we had taco salad. Tonight we're having BBQ pork chops, tater tots and broccoli.

Has anyone ever tried grilling pizza dough. I watched 'Ham on the Street' do it the other day and it looked really good. I thought I might give it a try Friday. I'm afraid it's going to stick to the grill though. Anyone have tips?

Kathy, prayers said for your mom. :grouphug:

Today I'm making enchiladas and corn muffins. :)

Tigercat :grouphug:

crockpot chicken is on the menu tonight with some squash and deviled eggs as I've been craving them!!!

Sorry to hear about your mom, TigerKat. :grouphug:

Tonight we'll probably have burritos. Something on the side.

It's mexican night..Shredded beef chimichangas, and the shredded beef has been in the corck pot since last night

I'm not quite sure about tonight. DD has a really bad sore throat (we have a doctors appt. for later on today to see if it is strep). I'd like to make something that she might like to eat.

Any suggestions? I was thinking of maybe trying Lindsays veggie soup.

Jenny...I love your new avatar and sig pics!

Kathy...I hope your mom is okay.

(((Tigerkat and mom))))

We are having a marinated porkloin that has been in the CP since 10:30am. My question is, if it is on low, can you over cook a porkloin? My mom is spazzing out and I don't think I have ever over cooked one. It is a huge Costco Porkloin.

On the side carrots that will be cooked with the roast and mashed potatoes.

I think you're ok. How much moisture is in with the tenderloin? That's the only thing I'd watch. If you run out of moisture, then you could be in trouble.

Sounds like a yummy meal!

I had my husband put in probably 1/2 a cup of water surrounding the roast? I have never had a dry crockpot when cooking the roast. Always lots of liquid when it's done!!

I need to get motivated to go cut up roast for fajitas later this week.

Tigerkat, so sorry about your mom.

DH had another work dinner tonight (blah!!). I had an omelet with gruyere cheese, some sauteed spinach, some toasted baguette, and a couple of cherry tomatoes.

Tonight I am making a big pot of homemade vegetable soup and cornbread.

WFD at your house??

Anyone heard from Tigerkat?? :grouphug::flower3:

Potroast in the crock pot tonight. I'll mash some potatoes instead of put them in with the roast. My kids don't like "touching" food if you know what I mean.:confused3

I think it will be tortellini and marinara sauce--some garlic toast as well.

Glynis--your Lime Chicken Nachos were a hit here!:thumbsup2

I haven't heard from Kathy...maybe Nancy has... for you Kathy...

Tonight is London Broil, rice pilaf and probably broccoli.

Have a great day!
