Hi,

The Disney website is having "issues" but hopefully will be back to normal soon.

May hours should be released next week, but since ADRs are now 90 days again, you should have no problems with that.

Follow up..

On Feb 12 all 'good official' sources have been updated in the last 24 hours to show a 6pm closing for DHS with NO EMH. The DIS Calendar is being updated as we speak to reflect that.

Where oh where do I find them? Since Disney has redone their website I can't find it anymore! Why didn't I print them off when I first saw them months ago?!? We will be going Feb. 11th-18th... If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be GREAT! Thanks!

I've seen rumor that there is going to be a big to-do at DHS on the 12th due to the American Idol opening, a parade with some/all of the previous AI winners. We'll be there that week too and I'm making myself crazy over our DHS day. We were going to go Monday, 2/9 when it was NOT an EMH day. Then they switched it to an EMH day so I figured we do DHS on 2/12, then they shortened the hours which is not too big a deal for us. But, if there is a big celebrity filled parade, I think I may go back to going on 2/9. Sigh...I was hoping to have our plans finalized by now!

yeah, my park hours tool which gets its information hourly also says 9-12 with evening EMH on 2/15. that comes from the canadian site.

So I know for the future, what defines "good official?" The disneyworld.com US schedule (here) still has closing at 7 with EMH. They're not going to have a lot of happy people if their own website is the inaccurate one.

I see the Canadian calendar is showing no EMH for 2/12 but the EMH page DOES show it. So they never updated the EMH page on there. Not good.

Ugh! Where is THIS listed now? I didn't really want to swap to do AK on the 12th and DHS on the 13th (though that'd mean I'd be riding ToT on Friday the 13th), but that may leave me with no choice!
It's staggering how much info ISN'T available straight on their own website..

Disney's new site is an abomination.

I urge you to write them and say so. I did.

It makes me very angry and more than a little disappointed that a company with their resources put out a website SO completely dreadful and off the mark.

Disney had been outsourcing many aspects of IT. I wonder if the web site was one of the areas. Everyone should express their displeasure with the functionality and content of the site, to disney. Hopefully if enough people complain they might actually do something about it.

Yeah, now I'm ticked too because we were planning on enjoying the EMH at DHS on 2/9 after waiting for Fantasmic....we figured that would give us some extra time. now the website says there are no EMH on the 9th....that they are on the 12th which is the day we go home *sniff*

I get MORE info from disboards than I do the Disney website!

And to further confuse the issue, I just spoke with Central Reservations (CRO) just now (10:10am ET) and the lady on the phone told me that the MK hours for Sunday 02/15 are 9am - 12 midnight, with Extra Magic Hours from Midnight to 3am. The Disney site Park Hours webpage is unchanged from my previous posting, saying EMH are 10 - 1am.

I wonder what ToonTown is like at 3am? Think that there will still be a long line to meet-and-greet the Fairies?

I might be mistaken, but it seems to me that toontown was usually closed during EMH whenever we were there. We always wanted to hit Goofy's roller coaster.

Not that this one's a deal-breaker, but now looking at MK on the 8th, THAT's not even consistent! disneyworld.com has it closing at 8 with EMH, while everything else I can find says 9 with EMH.

I'd go day-by-day through my trip, but I think I'd get too angry.

Thank you so much for doing this thread, I was beginning to feel like I was in the Twilight Zone of park hours planning.

I agree the new park hours section of the official website is so NOT user friendly.

Thanks Carnator for posting you can call and use the automative system to get info, did not know that. That is the great thing about the DIS, always learning something new.

I still see the DIS as having contrary info to the Disney website for 1/31, 2/1, and 2/6.

I don't know how much senior management knows about how BAD this 'new website is'....

I wrote Meg Crofton.. and told her.. but I suspect she doesn't read those emails.. whatever. Someone read it.. and someone got back to me.
