Kate ... waiting for your history lecture!

Take your pick, I also can lecture on Love and Relationships in Twentieth Century Britain, but its not exactly appropriate for a Disney discussion board. :rotfl:

I am also doing a project on the Gay Liberation Movement, so I am getting to standard! :thumbsup2

Anyone have any Shore Excursions planned this week?

Monday - Visit the Wild and Wonderful Lush Tropics of our Local Park - for ds lacrosse practice (btw, it's a balmy 59 degrees and cloudy)

Tuesday - Still have to confirm my options with Guest Services

Wed - Visit the infirmary on deck 1 - take my dad to the dr.

Let's not forget the nightly entertainment of our House Band: Homework Battle!

Count me in on the Dancing with the Stars viewing party!

Thanks everyone for the good vibes - son's arm in not fractured so there will be no cast for our upcoming trip! yay!

5) Bar tours around the union bars sounds fun! May suggest it...

Pub Crawl!!!!!!!!!!!! Actually, I'm going to one on wednesday for my friends birthday, but chinese buffet tomorrow for my birthday!!!!!

I'm also making up for not being on the cruise by buying lots of pins from eBay and the disney store

Hi all! Checking in from the Pregnancy Deck. I'm just 33 weeks, and I'm already losing patience. I just yelled at a telemarketer. :guilty: I feel bad about it. I know that she was just doing her job, but we have been getting calls from that number for over a week and every time I answer no one is there. It was someone from the cable company that is also our internet provider. We don't want cable. If we wanted cable we would call them and sign up. Every time the phone rings I have to haul my gigantic pregnant self up to answer, and it was infuriating me that there was never anyone on the phone. (You know how there is that delay before a telemarketer answers?) Well, today was this girl's unlucky day and she actually answered and I not so nicely said for them to quit calling and to take us off their list. I feel really bad about it now, too. I guess these hormones just got the best of me. Plus our internet has been acting up today and cutting out the wireless every so often, so I was already annoyed. I think I need a cruise to get in some R&R!

Anyway, as for the cake vs. pie debate, yesterday DH and I made a cheesecake with a brownie crust to celebrate Mother's Day. Here's a link to the recipe. It is really good and really easy. I actually made the crust from scratch instead of a box, because it's not like brownies are hard to make, and used all vanilla instead of vanilla and almond extracts, but otherwise we followed the recipe. Brownie Cheesecake

Crisis on the laundry deck....can anyone recommend a good new washing machine?

We have an LG washer/dryer combo unit that we really like. It is sooo cool because it washes and dries. You can set the timer to come on at a certain time, and then it will do a wash cycle and then a drying cycle, so you don't even have to switch machines. It's really cool. We got it at Best Buy in 2005.

Funny how they seem to put the Pregnancy Deck to far away from everything!

I hear that after you stay on the pregnancy deck for 40 weeks , they upgrade you to the New Mommy No Sleep Deck!

The cheescake looks divine! Thanks!

Hi all! Checking in from the Pregnancy Deck. I'm just 33 weeks, and I'm already losing patience.

Howdy neighbor! I think I lost my patience with the world around 33/34 weeks. Anything/anyone that makes me move more than I have to, is just not fulfilling my pregnancy cruise fantasy of being waited on hand and foot. :lmao:

Isn't it though! Not to mention that it's a sushi and alcohol free zone!

Hmm..not sure if that's an upgrade! Plus the process that they make you go through to get to that different deck is an excursion that most people would avoid if at all possible! :scared1: And people think Nassau is nasty .. ... .

Good news about your son!!

Looks like there will be quite a turn out for the DWS viewing party.

Do we need to dress formal for this?

Tracy's itinerary was great, but she didn't put in time to take naps!!!

Can you recommend any sellers, I am thinking of expanding my pin collection?

This cruise seems to have a large pregnancy deck, which I need to stay FAR away from! :rotfl:

Okay, you totally have me beat at 39 weeks!! Where is that waiter with the non-alcoholic fruity drinks when we need him? I don't want to actually have to get off the couch when I'm thirsty! :rotfl:

Well, I'm hoping that the payoff will be worth it! :goodvibes

Just checking in...busy day at school and now off to t-ball practice...

You are all welcome to join me on the family vacation from hell deck.

Instead of a podcast cruise I get 5 days in Dallas hearing my parents each tell me how horrible the other is. Even when I remind them they have been divorced for 30 years and if they want to see their grandson they'll play nice they don't miss a step. I don't think I have ever looked so forward to a flight with a 2 year old as the one we're taking tomorrow.
