Yup we’re all guessing. But all 2 bedrooms are listed as preferred and half view each pool so it’s a good guess for sure.

Everyone is overlooking the possibility of an "inflatable pool sitting in the front yard of a rent-subsidized apartment" view...

I just visited the DVC Lounge at Epcot and they have a scale model building that shows you exactly the location of those duo Towers .
I spoke to Guide named Riviera and he joked that he “had “ to buy at… the Riviera !
Anyway those duo studios are really tucked in the corner…
I am studying and wonder if this is correct info tho…
that looks more like the stairwell

The original documents are probably not far off - you can see the placement of the Duo ("Pods") studios in these charts - either side of the grand villas and also some by the elevators and such (like levels 1-5 at the end nearest Walnut)

The original documents overlay nearly perfectly with the Condo Plan pieces published in POS. Some rooms didn't end up being made, but the ones that are in both are a perfect match.

Based on the original documents, on floors 3-8, that room 'outside' the multi-color trellis is the bedroom of a 1 Bedroom Villa. Floors 9-12, it's a PV Duo adjacent to a Grand Villa.

While they appear to be the same size from the outside, the bedroom of a 1BR is larger than a Duo and there is more hallway space on floors 9-12.

Like someone pointed out already, the blueprint shows the ones by the grand villas are duo studios. There’s also a few randomly placed rooms but majority are placed at the joining of the 2 corridors. These are the ones I’m excited about.

Thanks. I was looking for those to share with the wife. I found out my uncle is helping with the final stages of the work on VDH and he confirmed that it's all hands on deck/fire drill mode. He's actually the retired owner of a firm that is now managed by his daughters and they said he wasn't allowed to take any time off as they are so busy. He "got fired" to take a vacation and then was hired back when he got back to Cali. I am glad we avoided the temptation to book at the end of the month and are waiting for late October to make sure all of the bugs are worked out before our visit....

Just added on 4 nights at VGC to our April trip. That magical feeling when you are able to use your WDW points to book at VGC..... So happy we are able to do DVC split stays now in California. Decided to splurge for this trip as Grandma/Great Grandma is going to be staying with us for a few months in the spring and she wants to give our trip to Disneyland another go. At 90 she is in great health (fingers crossed). We just want to be able to sit at the corner of main street and enjoy a snack/coffee. People watch and remember awesome memories. And likely a trip on the train.

This picture that @UrsulaWantsYourSoul posted above make me think the pool area will be accessible soon. Why else would it have a second construction wall in an area already inaccessible to guests? That would give us something to talk about lol.

The multiple guides I spoke with over the weekend made it sound like they’re going for a test stay soon. I swore they said around 9/18. Also the model rooms are being worked on too. I tried peeking at the back building when visiting the Aulani model rooms but didn’t really get to see much more details from that angle either. I’ll probably have to make a detour and drive on Walnut one night. But hey, at least I scored a free dole whip from that visit!
