I'm a little unsure about the whole "faeire-land" thing. I know Alan Ball isn't really sticking to the books, but I just hope he doesn't take it too far. I really enjoy seeing the stuff from the books in the show as well as the new additions. But I bet we do see Claude this season, just because it looks like we're really diving into the Faeire stuff this time around.

More importantly to me... I'm so excited for Eric's storyline this season! 20 more days!!!

The first 6 minutes made me even more excited! I hope Alan Ball at least keeps some of the book in the series.

I'm sooooooooooooo happy True Blood is back! Entertainment weekly has 3 different covers with Sookie/Eric, Sookie/Alcide and Sookie/Bill as American Gothic painting.

I got the Sookie/Alcide one. <grumble> wanted the Eric one.

The latest book was a total disappointment and I'm glad I didn't buy it (I got it as an ebook from the library earlier this week).

Hi I'm Melissa & I LOVE True Blood.

I found the last book to be very disappointing. In my honest opinion the end of the book felt really rushed. I finished the book and thought that was it? All of that build up for that? I was really glad I borrowed it from the library and did not pay for it.

What did ya'll think of the new book? I found it was good, but that it was missing some of the usual umph of the other books.

But I felt the Eric/Sookie storyline took a major backseat in the latest book. I do agree it was better than the one before (even though that had more Eric/Sookie)!
