"The Official 'True Blood' Vampire Thread" ...spoilers included.

I have to say that I'm enjoying this season the most. I LOVE Lafayette. I enjoy Jessica, Eric, Pam, etc. I agree with a PP, the secondary characters really outshine any Sookie/Bill story.

I LUV Pam! She has been one of my faves since day one. I like her dry sense of humor.

I am sad that Lafayette has not gotten his "groove" back yet. That whole kidnapping ordeal really messed with his head. He was so over the top in season one, I got spoiled- I want the old Lafayette to come back in full swing. I have not read the books- can anyone tell me if he will be back to his old, "bad" self?

In the books he was only in the first one. He died at the end of book one. He was the one found in the car not Ms. Jannette.

The reason that Bill had sex with Lorena is that she is his maker and he cannot refuse to do her bidding. That is why he was stuck in the hotel in Dallas, because she would not let him leave.

Ohhhhh now that makes sense! I knew that he couldn't refuse to do what she said, but until you said that, I forgot she told him to make love to her.

Oh that's right!!!! I remember everyone having that conversation way back when. Thanks!

Sorry- the brain deletes all info after 24 hours. My life is like the movie Groundhog Day.

It's Monday, so I totally understand! Even after 4 cups of coffee I am still in a daze, LOL.

Ok I love the first season and season two, I was ready for it to be over with after the whole Maryann debacle. But, WOW WOW WOW to Season 3. This has been just a great season of tv and we're only on the 3rd episode! There is so much going on! I think this is the begining of the end for "sweet Vampire Bill". Bring on some hot, steamy, Eric yumminess!

I thought the scene was necessary. Bill tries so hard to NOT be vampirish that they had to show that he still has vampire tendencies.

But it just looked stupid, that's what I mean. Why couldn't he rip her throat out or do any other vampirish thing? That whole scene just looked silly and fake to me. :lmao:

She is stronger than he is and she can kill him if necessary. Bill is now her prisoner in the King's mansion.

Did anyone else think it was odd when Sam showed up at his family's house and the dad was sitting there in his undies with the brother tommy? And then the bar scene when he was giving Tommy the liquor shots? I feel like that is going somewhere. Not sure since it isn't in the books

I caught that as well. And was it my imagination, or did the dad have his arm on his son's thigh? Yes, I do believe they're going to take that in a disturbing direction, but we'll see I guess :confused3

I thought that was normal redneck/trailer trash stuff. :confused3 You know, like marrying your sister's cousin, type of thing.

And the scene at the end -- do vampires not wear underwear??? :rotfl2:

But it just looked stupid, that's what I mean. Why couldn't he rip her throat out or do any other vampirish thing? That whole scene just looked silly and fake to me. :lmao:

I thought it didn't look very well staged either. When did Bill unzip? And he didn't have to push any clothes aside? :confused3

You're welcome> I am that annoying person who has to yell out what show someone is from when I see them :rotfl2:

You'll need to come watch tv with DH and I all the time. It will take days for us to come up with where we've seen the actor before. I saw Pam in an old episode of Bones and it took me 3 days to place her. :lmao:

If you watch Criminal Minds, the actor who plays our can't hurt a fly, Hoyt, was actually a serial killer in one episode. He and his brother on the show, were roaming around the woods in Iowa shooting hikers/campers with a long bow and arrow. :scared1:

Why bother asking when you can just glamour your way in? :confused3 :guilty:

I thought that too. ::yes::

I agree with the ending, I sat there with my mouth wide open in disbelief. Why did he do that if he hates Lorena so much? I am confused....

It was not really sex-sex for Bill- I believe that was his way of taking his hatred out on her. Lorena on the other hand, seemed to like it:laughing:

Yes, normally, that kind of hatred & violence go along with a rape, only Lorena wanted it, so it's not a rape on her part. :confused3

The scene with Pam was hilarious. Lay back and think of Estonia! :lmao: I had to explain that to my DH.

Can someone explain the Estonia reference to me?

Can someone explain the Estonia reference to me?

Victorian women were often advised by their mothers that on their wedding nights they should, "Lie back and think of England." The woman that Pam was with was from Estonia.

That's what I took it to mean anyway. :lmao:

Estonia reference: I think it has something to do with an "unenthusiastic" bride being told to think of England or The Empire on her wedding night. Duty for country? What a funny reference! I love Pam.

I felt like they were definitely trying to give the impression that something imapporiate was going on.

my take was he had to do the deed but he didn't want to look at her so he twisted her head around like the Exorcist:rotfl:

yes it looked like that to me as well.
I don't know where its going since its not something from any of the books.

That is exactly what I thought. It did not seem like the son felt uncomfortable. I could be wrong.

The only thing that creeped me out was that his undies were dingy and too big :lmao: Ew. Use some Clorox or go buy a new pack at the local Walmart.

Either way the head twist was crazzzzzzzzzzy ! I really don't like Lorena at all... but Im glad they are taking bill and sookie apart i can't stand beeell anymore unfortunatley after reading the books.

I still am trying to explain vampire erm... conjugal visits to my grandmother who wants to know if neck twisting always happens

Yes, that's why I didn't get a hit off of it, that something was wrong. Maybe I'm just too trailer trashy. :lmao:

And, I would NOT want to see his non-tighty whities any tighter. :scared1:

Eric yes. :thumbsup2 Him no! :scared:
