I see you're in Denham Springs! Would have been a quick drive for you! It was in Metarie at Zephyr Field last Saturday, March 20. It was a baseball game to benefit Haitian Relief Efforts and New Orleans Non-profits. It was the Saints VS. the Sinners - Saints players (like kicker Garrett Hartley) and other hometown celebs VS actors from Twilight's New Moon (Nelsan Ellis played on this team.) It was so much fun! They are doing one other game like this in Utah in May, Twilight actors VS Olympians. So I'm really glad that at least on came my way!

I have managed to create a TB addict out of my straight-laced mother. I got her the books for her birthday last month & she is loving them. She has yet to see the show, but I told her she needs to watch it after she's done reading all the books. My boyfriend is also currently reading the books (he's on book 2) & we're anxiously awaiting season 3.

Are any of you guys planning on having a season 3 premier party on June 13th? I'm thinking about it...I have lots of ideas for vampire themed food/decor. If you guys have any good ideas I'd love to hear them!

Maybe this has already been said but True Blood season 1 is OnDemand right now until the new season premier, if anyone wanted to re-watch it.

True Blood returns for its third season this summer, starting on June 13 and running through September 12. (Mini-marathons are scheduled for Independence Day, and the Sunday before Labor Day.)

yes! though I am waiting to pick it up...Charlaine Harris is doing a book signing in Dallas on the 15th and we are going to that. So I figure I can hold out until then and buy the book and get it signed! I am so excited!

If anyone wants a signed copy I call Murder by the Book in Houston and they usually get signed copies of her lastest releases. I did this last year and again this year for Dead in the Family and Club Dead (which was just recently released in hardback). They get a lot of mystery authors in there...I just love a signed book.
