The official POR-POFQ Late October/November/December RO discount watch

Anyone else obsessed with checking email first thing in the morning to see if any rumors of Fall RO discounts are out there or if a pin came in the email?

Yes! I get up at 4am every morning and the first thing I do is check the Disney website for specials and then the DIS. I'm sure we have a ways to go yet, but I'm not backing down now. I really need a discount to justify this trip!

Phew! This thread has been so quiet I thought I was the only one.
I need a discount to motivate me to book something other than the room and park tickets.

We, too, booked with M V T. The discount was way better than any type of room only offer Disney could have given us. It also gives us a free day at a water park or Disney Quest. Not as good as free dining, but it sure beats nothing at all! Saving us a little more than $1000 between the two rooms (POR standard rooms, which weren't available online or on the phone for booking).
Confirmation arrived from the agency and my reservations are linked to my Disney Account. Allowed me to book all of my dining reservations at 180+10, so its totally legit. Best part is I'm done stalking the boards at 6 a.m. looking for a discount.

Lucky you for both the discount and the big group going. I don't do water park or Disney Quest so that doesn't help me anyway. Oh just realized you are at POR not FQ. I was wondering how you were fitting 9 at FQ in 2 rooms.

No kidding. I got a Disney Visa thing today and thought "Could this be a pin code"? Nope it was telling me how I can spend my Disney Rewards. Well I know how to spend them.

I know if it's gonna happen it won't be until at least sometime in July but I keep hoping.

Did you check with this travel agency to see if this discount would work for you? There are only 7 of us between our 2 rooms....not sure where you saw 9? We don't normally do Disney Quest or water park either, but they were free, so who is complaining! The kids will enjoy themselves, as we have never done either.
I would be happy to send their info to you if you would like to check your dates out. They weren't advertising for November yet, but he sure worked some magic for us!

I had to cancel out Labor Day amazing deal at BC we had thru them. Quoted the 1st week of nov and it was a good rate, but we want to do mid nov which doesn't work with their offerings. Such a bummer, b/c I want to buy plane tix and schedule meals but can't til discounts come out.

I'm not understanding how 1 agent can do discounts now when all the others aren't. But I guess worth a call to not be obessively hoping for a good deal to pop up on my screen. I just want a little more of a break than the full rack rate so I can make some other plans with the savings. The money is in the budget, I just want to be able to do more with it.

Doesn't mid November have free dining? Or are you looking for RO?
I'm going the 2nd through the 8th. Which I miss free dining on both ends but DH and I don't want to make a bunch of ADRs.
