I watched the video and came straight here to see if anyone else was commenting on the layout in that studio. that kitchenette placement looks awful to me? lol, it looks SO cramped. trying to figure out if I'm just spoiled by the size/layout of the original Poly studios. I remember staying in a CC studio and it feeling super cramped. I'm also very interested to know the square footage. the one bedroom looks on the small side to me too.I do like it, although I feel those studios look small, and I dislike the placement of the couch and kitchenette. The video makes it feel even smaller. Wonder what the square footage is. It's a full DVC only tower so I didn't expect much Disney theming, but this is a nice blend. My nitpick would be that white table. I hate it and reminds me of the incredible rooms
Does look cramped, but does look like there are drawers under the TV instead of the pull down bunk. More storage spaces. If you need 4-5 people, then you should book the longhouse studios. If its just 2-3 people, then the Island tower is perfect. I really will like having real dishes and a dishwasher the studio!I watched the video and came straight here to see if anyone else was commenting on the layout in that studio. that kitchenette placement looks awful to me? lol, it looks SO cramped. trying to figure out if I'm just spoiled by the size/layout of the original Poly studios. They needed some studios for the 2BR lock-offs. We still don’t know how many of each room types there are.I haven't been following closely. I didn't think they were going to have any studios. I thought it was just going to be Duo studios and then larger rooms.
Yes, both bathrooms have a toilet. Looks like the one in the master is behind a door.Is there a toilet in the 2nd bath (off bedroom) in the 1 bedrm? It is hard to tell in the video.
Yeah, I think we're going to be looking at point charts higher than VGF and RIV, unfortunately. That said, my thinking is that because the Island Tower point charts are likely to be higher, the existing studio point charts should stay about the same, even if they try to adjust for the bungalows to come down a bit.I would definitely use our BRV points to try and stay at the 7-month mark some day. But I have a feeling the points chart will be too rich for my blood!
