The Official POLYNESIAN VILLAS & BUNGALOWS Owners and Fans info thread

We are returning to Disney after a long absence the week of Dec 14th 2025, and plan to rent points for a studio at Polynesian. We are looking to get one of the current studios, not the tower expansion. Does anyone have an opinion on what the opening of the tower expansion is going to do to demand for the current rooms? We plan to boo 11 months out, but I know that week can be busy. What are our odds of scoring a standard studio for 6 nights through a service?
Hi and welcome back!
I don’t know if anyone can predict how the tower opening will affect booking the original PVB studios 🤷‍♀️. I would think many would like to try the new and shiny island tower. Since your trip is in December, booking at 11 months sound like a good plan.

You should be fine - just set up your rental before the 11 month mark to ensure the best chance of success. Edited to clarify - find the person or service you will rent from and have your deposit in before 11months so they can book that day.

Will it happend before it opens? Hoping so, since it usually causes some rooms to open up elshwere..lol

Speculation is sales starting October first with bookings a few weeks later. We assume they will allow bookings in December.

But honestly, at this point, who knows.

I'll need a dress dry cleaned during my stay. Pretty sure there's no bag for laundry in the closet. Do I just call housekeeping?

Curious if there's any speculation about when a path to the GF will re-open. Assuming with all of the construction there is still no access. Hoping there may be a path across the front on the Tower when all is done. Seems like it would re-open before official reservations begin in mid December.

Thanks for your thoughts!

Updated the PVB points chart on the first page... We went from the simplest points chart to by far the most complicated.

What's the "Premium View" (PM) for the Duos?

Apologies if this isn't the right thread.

Is there information yet that shows the floor-by-floor room numbers for the Island Tower?

For example, this is the first-floor plan, which includes several rooms. Do we know what those room numbers are yet, for each room?

No, to my knowledge we do not have that level of detail yet, based on what documents are available.

Is anyone staying in the Bungalows during Milton? I was a little surprised not to see a mention of those in the list of resort areas that they were moving to other buildings? Wishing both the CMs and Guests an easy (as can be under the circumstances) next couple of days onsite. Please update if you're in the Bungalows and have time to post - even after the fact.

Has anyone heard if the new Poly tower studios will have a mini fridge vs a beverage cooler? I’m staying this summer for a quick stay with my kid and would highly prefer a fridge; if the tower has one I might consider switching on the 19th.

The Island Tower website says "Small refrigerator" for the studios, if that helps.

For what it's worth, Port Orleans Riverside's amenties call it a "Beverage cooler", so they know and use the distinction. I suspect you'll get a fridge.

You may have already seen this by now, but Touring Plans has posted this type of detail. Obviously, I cannot confirm the accuracy.

I will be staying at the Poly for the first time the end of January. We are rope droppers so MK opens at 8:30AM for early entry. I read the monorail starts 30 minutes prior.
Does a line form at the Poly for the Monorail? If so how early?
Does it really start 30 minutes early or is it sooner?
Any tips and tricks are always appreciated!
