AW, BOO!
I was hoping it was a real show.

Oh well. I am watching anyway

Tonights is some kind of recap. Probably worth watching anyway!![]()
Oh wait!! During the recap episode, didn't they specifically say that Widmore was the one who planted the fake airplane on the bottom of the ocean? Or did I hear that wrong?
I know last week we were speculating about the dead guy that Naomi took Miles to in the restaurant - Miles said he was taking receipts and photos of empty graves to Widmore when he was killed. But it was never clear whether he was taking evidence to Widmore that BEN faked the crash, or that he was delivering receipts after completing the job for Widmore.
I'm not good with details at all, but I am absolutely certain we were told that Widmore was responsible for the fake crash in a previous episode, maybe last season. I don't watch the recap episodes so just from the last 2 posts I know that wasn't the first time we were told that.

I am pretty certain that the only reason we think it was Widmore was because Ben said it was. Like the PP said-The man in the rest could have been hired by Widmore to proove that it had been done (for Widmore) or to proove that Ben had faked it.
However, we all know Ben is a liar so that doesn't mean anything.
I think that they are trying to throw us off by making it look like Widmore. Widmore was looking for the island. Even if he knew that 815 crashed on the island, why would he care if others were searching for it. Wouldn't that actually make it easier for him to find, if others were looking too?
However, Ben actually had a reason to fake the plane crash. He didn't want anyone looking for them because he was on the island and didn't want to be found.

Up until last night, I believe the only person who'd said that Widmore was responsible for the fake crash was Ben. And since we all know that Ben lies like crazy, you just can't believe anything he says.
I thought it was one of the freighter people(Daniel or Lapidus, I think) that confirmed it was Widmore sometime last season.
Hey, this reminds me...remember that scene when Daniel was crying while watching the TV? Wasn't that when the 'fake' plane was found and on the news??
President Barack Obama has asked to make a prime-time appearance during May sweeps.
White House officials have requested up to an hour of airtime for Wednesday, April 29, according to TV Week. The press conference, which falls on the 100th day of Obama's presidency, will probably air in the 8 o'clock hour and address questions of the president's performance.
AGAIN??
Any idea how this would effect LOST? I hope they would just bump whatever show is on at 8 and still show Lost. Either that or just kindly turn down his request.
