Ugh, I have such conflict in me right now and I'm not sure what to do...
I *think* I need to eat at Be Our Guest and I can't decide (1.) If it should be lunch or dinner and (2.) Is it even good enough to be 1 of our 5 precious lunch/dinner ADRs. ....??
I feel I need to eat there so I can say I did it, but I feel all the dining reviews only rate it a so-so....
We will be on DxDP so we'd have plenty of TS credits for a dinner and I think my family would like the dinner menu better over lunch, but then I wonder if dinner is good enough to take the space of another restaurant. ..
Argh!!
Thoughts, comments, suggestions? ?
I can only give you advice about dinner because that is the only meal we've eaten at BOG so far. We ate dinner there on our June 2013 and it was magical!!

We were seated in the ballroom (I think that was the only area open for dinner at that time). My littlest DD was only about 9 1/2 months at the time and our ADR was for 9pm so she was sound asleep in her stroller. They let me (actually encouraged me to) bring her into the restaurant in her stroller. We were seated right next to one of the "windows" with all the snow. The stroller backed right up to the wall in between the tables with plenty of room.
My eldest DD (16 at the time) and I both got the grilled strip steak with with garlic-herb butter and pomme frites. I kind of surprised myself because for months I was anticipating getting the shrimp/scallop puffed pastry thing. I must have been in the mood for a steak that night. I ended up not getting an "adult beverage" even though our server played up the "only place in the park that serves alcohol" feature because it was so hot outside and I was dehydrated already.
I was a little nervous ordering the strip steak because I was afraid it might be tough but it was very tender and had a great flavor. It is also served with a side of green beans but they were a little too al dente for my taste. I was nervous after reading the reviews like you but this ended up being one of my favorite meals of the trip.
After dinner we didn't wander around too much but we did go to get our picture made with the Beast. This was the 9 1/2 month old's first character interaction ever and he (she?) did amazing with her!!! The Beast is HUGE and I thought she would be terrified but she just looked up at him and he rubbed her arm with his paw. She did great!
This trip we are going to attempt to do lunch at BOG and see if we like it just as much as our dinner experience.
