****The Official June 2015 thread!!! We're finally going to WDW***

We are planning the same dates! Hoping to stay at AOA again!
We are planning a short trip and staying at AOA for Thanksgiving, How was the bus situation? Look for us my DD always carries a backpack with a lime green Mickey head on it.

Does anybody know which moderates usually do summer discounts? We're open to staying at any of them, but whichever has a discount for our days is where we'll end up. Was hoping for POFQ, but I'm guessing from your post that they don't usually have a summer discount?

To my knowledge all the moderates offer the discount except POFQ. Which really sucks because we stayed there this past June and really liked it. Now that my DGD is considered an adult, we need all the discounts we can get. LOL! We really like POR, but it is huge. But rooms and ambience are nice. We have also stayed at CBR and like it. Never have stayed at CSR but a lot of people have said it was nice but again on the large size. And they also do conventions and I have heard that if a convention is going on you don't necessarily want to stay there with small children. Hope this helps. Happy planning!:)

The bus situation was fine with the exception of all the stops at the parks seem to be the very last station! Otherwise, it was great. Never seemed to take more than 15-20 mins to get any where.

We booked our reservations starting June 14th staying in a villa at Old Key West. :goodvibes

We stayed at CSR last September and really liked it. The food court is great....we had a couple of really good meals there, and we loved the big pool. It's lovely to stroll around the resort at night. It's large but we never felt like it was too big.

Our oldest daughter is currently in Honduras until April and our June trip will be her "welcome home" trip. She's trying not to think about it yet because it makes her homesick, but she did say today that she doesn't care where we stay because, matter living in Honduras without hot running water, air conditioning, and modern conveniences, anything will be wonderful. Lol. She also only has one ADR request - 'Ohana, so that will be a must do for us. I'm torn between the convenience and ambience of staying on site and the savings and larger size if we stay off site. But our family is divided between two touring styles...oldest DD and I are rope drop people....younger DD and DH are not. So staying on site definitely facilitates those two styles better than staying off site! We've been to WDW enough that both girls are very comfortable navigating the parks and transportation. I'm leaning toward CSR since older DD and I have stayed there but younger DD and DH have not. POR looks nice but the pictures of the Alligator Bayou rooms hurt my head....not my decor style! (Unless they've changed them and don't have the loud, plaid bedding anymore?)

I'm still debating about park hoppers....not sure how easy it will be to get FP+ in a second park if we don't hop until late afternoon..... Thoughts?

I've never done a PTR before but I may do one for this trip. Too early to start it, but it will keep my mind occupied and not focused on how much longer until our daughter gets home from Honduras!

Going June 2-8, hoping they keep SWW schedule BC my DS and DH love SW. Staying at AoA, have regular DP but thinking about DxDP.
Can't wait!!
And like someone else mentioned, my husband has put a moratorium on talking about food until Dec 3 (the day before I can book ADR's).

Yay! We will be at AOA June 3-7. :cool1: (Contemporary for 2 nights prior to that) What section are you staying in? We have Lion King booked but may switch to Little Mermaid if my cousin cannot join us. We have only ever stayed at Kidani, so very excited! I've never decorated resort windows before.

I believe that most (maybe all) of the resorts have moved to solid white bedding with a runner made out of the original bedspread. At least that was the case when we stayed at POFQ this past May. Maybe that will help you to make your decision. :)

Just counting down the days until we can make Dining reservation. :goodvibes

Hello Junies!! Just thought I'd stop by and say "hi" (& put our thread back to the top). Any new plans?

Ugh, I have such conflict in me right now and I'm not sure what to do...

I *think* I need to eat at Be Our Guest and I can't decide (1.) If it should be lunch or dinner and (2.) Is it even good enough to be 1 of our 5 precious lunch/dinner ADRs. ....??

I feel I need to eat there so I can say I did it, but I feel all the dining reviews only rate it a so-so....

We will be on DxDP so we'd have plenty of TS credits for a dinner and I think my family would like the dinner menu better over lunch, but then I wonder if dinner is good enough to take the space of another restaurant. ..

Argh!!

Thoughts, comments, suggestions? ?

Finally booked! May 30th to June 6th at Pop!

Welcome to the train to Disney that will be departing in June 2015!!

and WHY can't the DH's talk food with us a year out?? :confused3

don't they know its important for planning purposes??:rolleyes2

I've done BOG for lunch and really enjoyed it. We're definitely going to try to do it again on our June trip. I've heard that lunch is better than dinner, so we're going to stick with lunch.
